This is a fantastic area to drive, hike or bike in the Smokies! There are many side trails & historic buildings - we suggest bringing snacks & making an afternoon of it! Early day & Late evening are usually the best times to see bears!

It's worth the drive! We suggest taking the trail to the left up & the paved path down! Don't let the pavement fool you, the incline on the trail is much more gentle!

One of our favorite swimming areas for the whole family! Bring a tube or rent from one of the local tubbing companies and enjoy the afternoon!

This is a paved trail so it is convenient for all abilities. It is a 2.6 mile hike round trip, so depending on ages & physical shape - Cataract Falls may be a better option! This is by far one of the most visited waterfalls in the Smokies.
