City/town information

Barmouth is an old fashioned traditional Welsh seaside town, with fish and chips, donkey rides, a fair and a lovely beach. It's also got some great upmarket shops and restaurants, so really does have something for everyone. Worth exploring when it's sunny because everyone else will be on the beach!

Fabulous beach, castle with scary ramparts (not for those who don't like heights!) cafes with amazing views and really nice little home wear shops and delis for local foodie produce.

Really tasty streetfood from a posh shipping container at the north end of Barmouth Promenade. Check their Facebook page for opening times and to pre-order for take outs. There are also picnic tables facing the sea if you want to eat there. A lovely view and lovely food!
