Traveler advice

Getting around

Getting Around

Big Bear is easily accessible throughout the year. Even in the winter the roads are constantly plowed clear. You may be required to use chains if it is actively snowing. Taxi, Lyft, and Uber are not much available in the area.
Customs and culture

Enjoy a vast starry night in the mountains ✨

Serene quiet and tranquil days await. Embrace the mountain culture by keeping sounds inside during the evening & shutting off the outdoor lights when not in use. If you notice most the neighbors like to keep things dark so we can reduce light pollution and see the stars
What to pack

What to pack

Remember to pack warm jackets and clothing. It can get cold here at nights. The downstairs floor can be cold in the winter, you may want to bring a pair of slippers. & Don’t forget your swim suit for the hot tub!
