A very eclectic market with shops restaurants coffee places novelty food and stores and coffee shops vintage clothing shops & pubs. During summer on some weekends turns into a pedestrian market. Is open all week, might exercise caution at night but vibrant and bustling during day.

This is a great little spot to go for a walk there’s a seasonal outdoor patio there and an indoor restaurant also, can enjoy a drink or bite or just walk around. On the west side of the park there’s an artificial beach with umbrellas & chairs to sun bathe no swimming but a nice spot for sunshine, on the east side of the park is a grassy area with picnic tables. There’s a promenade to walk along as well. A nice public space.

Traveler advice

Getting around

Presto cards are great if you will be using subway or transit

You can purchase presto cards from machines at major stations, recommend at Union. They give you a 2 hr on and off window on a single fare same direction also.
Getting around

Bike share

There’s bike share stations across the street and a long bike path built during the Pan Am games you can go for a local bike ride or go further both east or west or all around the city. For anyone who is able to cycle longer distances Ontario Place Park is great has nice lake views is accessible by the bike share system also.
Getting around

The PATH

The Path is a great underground system that lets you walk indoors connects to subways, venues, financial district. Spans from York Street to Front Street to Dundas to Yonge, approximately.
Don't miss

Ten minutes any direction

Will basically take you somewhere cool, whether it’s the waterfront, stores, coffee, food…
Getting around

Triplinx app is great plan trips across transit types

You can find the best way to get around with TTC, local city transit or Go, the app will plan out the route with all options.
