It is probably the best campground in the sierras... It is close to Sonora; it is not crowded; it is on a river; it has horse trails; and great hikes up to the top of the Sierras!

Great place to hike around the lake, go fishing or kick back on a boat or a canoe. Never too crowded, and it is an easy 1/2 hr drive to get there.
