Neighborhoods

This is a real neighborhood of São Paulo. A lot of gentrification happened, but it still holds a underdog vibe. It's strong treat are the bars and nightlife, but as always, stay cautious!

The fancy sister of Santa Cecília. Higienopolis is old wealth, it's population is heavy mid-orient descendents, so you'll find a lot of middle-eatern food places! If you like architecture, there are 2 Artacho buildings in the region, as well as local Plaza (Porque Buenos Aires). Great restaurants, coffee shops and a big mall!

This is like a version of Highline in NY, except that... it only works as a "Park" on Weekends and Holidays! Great to walk on, the Minhocao venue passes by 4 neighborhoods (it starts in República and ends in Bom Retiro!). Be aware of you phone and other devices, never walk with it showing 😊 Mind that we are in a pandemic with a lot of job losses!

Small speakeasy, arrive before 6pm to make sure you'll get a spot in the balcony! Highly recommend if you are a fan of speakeasies!

Great food! Women owned business! It's a little more expensive than your average garage door restaurant but they serve amazing food and beverages.

This a truly local bar. Where locals eat, specially if it's sunny! Fair food, great price! Beer (as we have it locally) is always super cold, perfect for a less-pretentious evening!

Is it a bookshop? Is it a restaurant? It is both! You can have the most amazing meal there, it's owner is a known chef (at least among a part of society) and it's her new gig! It shares the space with a bookshop so it's a handy visit ;)
