Visible from Cedar Lodge, the Great Orme is the large hill next to Llandudno. Climb the path, or travel to the top by cable car or tram. From the summit there are spectacular views of Anglesey and Puffin Island.

The Welsh Mountain Zoo, which is a 20 min walk from the house, is home to a large variety of animals including tigers, lions and monkeys. Only half a mile from the house as the crow flies, you can sometimes even hear the sea lions at feeding time when sitting in the garden!

The White Lion Inn is an award winning gastro pub and restaurant in Llanelian-yn-Rhos, Colwyn Bay. Just a 10-min drive from Cedar Lodge, this friendly pub has excellent food and stunning views. Possibly the oldest country pub in North Wales, the White Lion is well worth a visit. We can particularly recommend their Sunday roast lunch, which is very good value.
