Dog Walk or day out

Lovely dog walk around the Head. White sandy beach at the end, with plentiful cafe's and restaurants. The sea is on one side Christchurch Harbour on the other side. You can take the ferry from Tuckton tea Gardens and get off at The Head or stay on for a further few minutes and get off at Mudeford Quay.

The New Forest at it's finest. Forest walk, or wander a long the stream. Wild ponies all year and pigs in the autumn. Beautiful

For those of you that like walking. Walk along the beach past Bournemouth until the end. You could stop at a cafe or 2 along the way. It will save you on the parking and congestion. You could also get the land train to Alumchine and walk from there.

Getting around

Great Bus service

Bus is 5 minutes from the house. Take you to both Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. Open top bus from Bournemouth Bus Station, which goes across to the Purbecks. You can then get the steam train to Corfe Castle. Brilliant day out
