A huge sandy beach with stunning views. You can park in the beach which is great with little children (there is a fee of a few pounds until 4pm in peak season). The tide comes in fast so keep an eye on your car!

Our nearest beach, the pebbles give way to a wonderful sandy beach at low tide. It’s a place of special scientific interest due to the flora and fauna, and the site of an Iron Age fort. Best of all there’s a chip shop, ice cream shop and café next to the beach! Free parking next to the beach.

Criccieth is a pretty seaside town with a lovely beach. There’s a great ice cream shop and several pubs and places to eat. The sea gets deep more quickly than at Porthmadog but it’s popular for paddle boarding etc.
