Helping you eat your way around Seattle!
This place is a local West Seattle favorite for pastries and desserts. Fun fact: on Mother’s Day, there’s always a huge line of dads outside early in the morning.

Ma’ono brings Hawaiian inspired dishes to the table and makes incredible fried chicken. Preorder a whole fried chicken (yes, seriously) for larger groups. AND they have a great brunch offering. Don’t hesitate to go here!!!

Seafood and a view! We LOVE Salty’s. It’s a great date night spot, and they have fun, rotating happy hour options on each weeknight.

The absolute BEST pho. This restaurant is located near the international district (about 20 minutes door to door from here). Unassuming from the outside, and full of delicious food on the inside. Your belly will thank you.

Taking a food tour is a super fun way to enjoy the city, learn about its history, and support local businesses. In particular, I love the Pike Place Market food tour!

Sightseeing

This city is really pretty. Go see it!
A beautiful and lesser know spot to catch a sunset in West Seattle. Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine on a warm summer night and voilà, magic made!

The Great Outdoors

For the folks who love hiking and all things outdoors.
Rattlesnake Ridge/Ledge is a very popular 5.3 out and back trail. It’s about an hour or so away and is a great day trip. It’s a fairly moderate hike with switchbacks and has a remarkable view at the top. And, Rattlesnake Lake below, which you pass by on the way to the trail, is a fun place to swim in the summer.

A 2.6 round trip hike that’s fairly moderate (my 2 year old walked to the top on her own) and has an accessible lookout tower at the top. The view from the top of lookout is epic.
