Spend a day wondering through the narrow streets and lanes. Lots of lovely places to eat and cafes to visit. West and East Hill - amazing views. If the hill is too much you can take the vehicular up to the top of East Hill. Hastings Castle 1066 . Lots of history going back many centuries. Take a ride on the mini railway, have a game of crazy golf or just wonder around the amusement.

Checkout the tides. At low tide you can walk towards Bexhill to Bulverhythe Beach. The beach is stunning, if you can do this at sunset (tide depending) the light can be breathtaking. It’s also dog friendly 🐾 If like a reasonable walk, there is a great cafe called Oceanside Cafe (there are public toilets just under the bridge) Look out for the Amsterdam shipwreck.

The Seven Sisters is one of the most stunning spots on the south coast. For the serious walker you can either walk all the way to Cuckmere Haven, or shorter distance to Birling Gap. The views are breathtaking.
