AMAZING BEC sandwiches for Breakfast! They bake their own bread and you can't get a egg sandwich like this practically anywhere. It's so good! Also a great easy lunch place with room to sit. Not fancy at all. Also try their amazing french toast and the After Dark blend coffee if you need that jolt when you get up. We love this place. Everyday!

For more formal dining. Piccola is amazing! Real touch of Europe and class. Charming and cozy interior. The slim waiter with the longer white hair is great! He's a Wine connoisseur and knew my taste. Highly Recommended! After a long day with the kids you can relax and get pampered here.

Cookman avenue has some amazing places too. For fast tacos try the MOGO'S taco place (another take out counter on the boardwalk) Robinson Ale house is an upscale sea food restaurant at the north end of boardwalk. Very Good!

Getting around
Use waze before you leave. Go online and get the address.
We find drivers in this area, slow or unnecessarily careful. Or they tailgate you and come out of intersections without looking. Coming from Manhattan this isn't a problem for us, but we just wanted to make you aware of it. Be careful. And Police are usually on Deal Road waiting, but don't really bother you. It's definitely somewhere where you could ride a bike, but a lot of destinations are by car only. Unless you like a good long walk.
