This hard working couple makes the most delicious lechon and sides. They are a food truck that operates Thursday through Sunday. To find them, leave our place and head towards Flamenco. You will see them on the left side just past the municipality building and in front of the Ecological School. They start selling around 10 am and stop when they sell out, usually by lunchtime. Call or text your order to: 787-404-1590

Traveler advice

What to pack

Come prepared

Reefsafe Sunscreen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, snorkeling gear.
Getting around

Taxis, Golf Carts, or Jeeps

Carlos' or Jerry's Jeep Rental are the only two rental companies on the island. If you want one, make sure to book in advance. If not, there are plenty of large, white vans that are the island taxis. They charge $5 per person each way to go to the beach.
