FANTASTIC Japanese. Taka is a huge restaurant, so if you’re not able to get a reservation definitely do walk in and put down your name—the wait usually isn’t longer than 30-45 minutes. I highly recommend the seaweed salad roll and the curry!

You’re at the shore, it only makes sense that you want seafood. Klein’s is where you go. When I moved in, I asked the next-door neighbors if they could only recommend one restaurant, what would it be. They said Klein’s.

I’m a big cocktail fan—and Asbury Park Distilling has the best cocktails in town. Just note: they don’t have food, so you’ll want to go after dinner. If you’re a fan of vodka or gin, they are my new bar staple. Makes for a great souvenir purchase too!

For those who are more into a brew, Bradley Brew Project is for you. Great beer selection, and a great ambience. It’s also within walking distance of the house!

Reservations Are Gold
The shore in the summertime can get super busy, and there's nothing worse than being entered into the table-wait queue when you're hungry. I would highly recommend—especially if you're a group over 4—making as many reservations, before your vacation, as possible. Having one will be gold. And cancelling one, if you have a change of heart, couldn't be easier.
