Best carne asada tacos, hands-down, not just in Long Beach but anywhere. Get the tacos combination plate or the meat plate. For late nights, the nachos are amazing as well.

One of the only authentic sushi restaurants in Long Beach. I believe they source their fish directly from Japan. Anything off their omakase menu is a must have, especially the Santa Barbara uni. Their rolls and izakaya menu items are great as well.

Great place to start your trip. A view of the Long Beach marina, open space, good energy, and good beer. Food is decent enough if you're hungry. It's also family friendly.

Best pizza in Long Beach. If the weather is nice, I recommend walking there through 4th Street (Go North on Temple and left on 4th.). You can walk through Retro Row and check out other shops and restaurants.
