What happens at South Beach
Great beach for young families - calm water good for swimming, supping, relaxing on the beach or the large grassed area. Very popular for picnics. Yoga classes open to newcomers at very reasonable price early mornings (BYO mat). Circus crew often practise in the evenings. Kiosk/cafe is popular. Walk to along the beach OR path to old "power staton". Cycle along path to Coogee. Sealanes fish & chips is over the road, kiosk/cafe also does great fish and chips. The South Beach Food Market on saturday evenings comes to life in Summer with local music and specialist food vans.

This is a very family friendly Italian iconic south Freo - been here forever. You need to book to get a table outside but generally its easy to get inside table - kid friendly and can be a bit noisy. Meals and pizza are great. Takeaway pizza I popular.
