Westport is almost always alive with music. This village is home to many talented musicians playing a whole range of styles, from country to rock to jazz but especially the blues. The Cove provides a stage for local and touring artists alike whether inside in the lounge, outside on the patio or summer concerts beside the pond. The Cove is also home to Blues on the Rideau, a series of dinner/show events that feature some of Canada's best blues artists. Other events like The Westport Music Festival (Aug) and WestPorch (Sept) provide streets full of live music events where the entire village is the stage. Westport has a variety of restaurants most of which are casual dining. Fine dining can be found at the Winery and the Dancing Moon Tea Room. The Cove, Tangled Garden and Lost Penny pub all serve elevated pub food and Steve's has great pizza and souvlaki. Several food trucks can be found around the area and Perth is just 20 min away for a wider assortment of eating establishments.
