Plenty of food stalls. You can buy ingredients and eat food. Expensive, but if you are interested in food, this might be just the place for you!

Elegant place, with lots of history and style. This is an excellent place to observe the rich and wealthy, and the occasional famous face. But the most important thing is that they have THE BEST hot chocolate in Oslo. At an surprisingly affordable price.

Parks & Nature

The Botanical Garden is a lovely place to visit, in all seasons. Several museums are located there: The Zological museum, The Botanical museum, and the Geological museum. Don't miss the vikingship, that displays the different kinds og plants and herbs used by the vikings.

Take the tram or train to Kjelsås, and walk down to Grønland along the river. It is a great walk, and you will see a mix of nature and city. It takes about 2 hours to walk. There are plenty of possibilities to stop and have something to eat along the way.

A lovely park with modern statues placed around in the forest. I personally think this park is far more interesting than the Vigeland Park. You can walk from Grønland, (it is steep! ), or take the tram.
