"Sparks Lake, off the Cascade Lakes Highway about 25 miles from Bend, is a very popular outdoor spot for locals and visitors alike. The views of South Sister, Broken Top, and Bachelor Butte are a photographer’s dream. Near the boat ramp check out the Atkeson Memorial Trail. A sign details the easy loop, which includes a .25 mile paved wheelchair section."

We had a couple take kayak at Hosmer Lake, and they said it was gorgeous. The water was a little cool in early August.
"Hosmer is a “fly fishing only” lake well known for its breathtaking views of Mt. Bachelor, South Sister, Broken Top, wildlife viewing and the big brook, cutthroat, and rainbow trout that are quite visible in this shallow, clear lake."
