Lake Gregory is 10 minutes away and has a great 3 mile trail to walk around. It is a great spot to picnic too if desired. There is a charge for parking. If you want a hint... park not he street, it's free. ;-)

This is an awesome trail and can be long and strenuous. But, if you are looking for a great outdoor hike, we highly recommend. Plus the view from the top is worth it!
