I recently discovered this great place, because I went to a stand-up show. Very cozy old fashioned couches, locally brewed beer from tap/bottle for a very good price. (almost the same as in-store.)

One of the first bars I discovered when I moved here in 2009. Very Berlin like, dimmed lights, good variety of drinks and they have 2 pinball machines. The whole vibe is robots and space. Pretty cool!

Bring enough time for this one. This interactive mueseum shows the history of espionage. Especially between Germany and the German Democratic Republic. They also have a fun laser parcours, where you can try your Jason Bourne skills.

Between 1933 and 1945, the central institutions of Nazi persecution and terror – the Secret State Police Office with its own “house prison,” the leadership of the SS and, during the Second World War, the Reich Security Main Office – were located on the present-day grounds of the “Topography of Terror”. This indoor/outdoor museum shows the history and impact of Nazi Germany.

Getting around

Buying a ticket

AB-zone ticket is enough to show you around the city. (Unless you come from SXF Airport, then you will also need an additonal C ticket). You can use ANY public transport with this ticket (bus, metro, S-Bahn, tram, regional trains). You don't have to a show a ticket to bus drivers unless they request it. If you have to buy a ticket on the bus, just tell him "Single AB ticket", as we don't have tickets that go to "special places".
