Sightseeing

Great views and a great way to see multiple beaches that Sydney has to offer. Sculptures by the sea from mid-Oct to early-November are interesting, but draw more crowds to an already busy experience.

Local jaywalking laws

The police, rightly or wrongly, regularly enforce rules for pedestrians crossing the road. Rules below: - You are allowed to cross a road (without using traffic lights) if you are more than 20 metres away from lights - i.e. if you're within 20m of traffic lights - you must use them to cross the road; - You can only start crossing at traffic lights if the ‘man’ is green, you must not start crossing on either yellow or red 'man'; and - You must get to the other side of the road in a timely manner
