A wonderful seaside resort with miles of promenade. No visit to Southend would be complete without a experiencing the longest pier in the world! Walk one way and take the train back if needs be. Old Leigh is a particular favourite of ours to visit. So quaint and interesting with lovely pubs, restaurants and cafes and the cockle sheds for your fresh seafood.
