Neighborhoods

There are numerous, countless, bars in New Orleans, so any list will be incomplete by nature, and will undoubtedly leave off personal favorites of many. That being said, I will endeavor to give you a run-down of those in the area and suggest my favorites. People often forget one of the BEST things about New Orleans: You can take drinks to go from restaurants, bars, and homes. SO, the rule is, NO GLASS, meaning if you desire to leave a place with a drink, just ask for a “GO CUP” and they will give you a plastic container to take your drink with you. Some places have decided not to let you bring drinks in with you, but that is not the norm. Just know that the law is NO GLASS on the streets.
