First time in Texas? A must go is H-E-B, a staple in the state. While only a supermarket, it garners a vibe that is unexplained. Never will you experience another supermarket in the country that give you a blissful feeling when shopping at H-E-B. As you can tell, we highly recommend.

Area State Parks

Guadalupe River State Park is the closest State Park to the Airstream with a 20 minute drive. This is easily our favorite local state park in the surrounding San Antonio area.
Very quiet with stunning views and wonderful trails for hiking, biking, birding, trail riding, etc. One of our favorites!
