I never knew I liked boiled peanuts until I got some of the hot & spicy ones from Gene. He’s usually out there on Sat & Sun. If you like boiled peanuts, go get some. If you don’t like boiled peanuts...you should try them again...

Just found out about this place. Nice location on the Cartecay River. Have shuffleboard and darts. Good selection of beer styles however I will say if you are a beer snob like me, you may find the beers to be average at best. But worth a trip overall if you like breweries.

Nice little spot right in downtown Ellijay. Haven’t had a pizza we didn’t like here. Sourdough crust is awesome!

This one of our favorite hikes. Wear water shoes as your feet will get wet crossing the water. Several waterfalls to see. Bring a bathing suit if you want to swim! Note start of trail is not clearly marked so research or ask questions before going!

Love this hike. It’s about a 45 minute drive from the cabin. Partially on a very scenic forest service road. The hike itself is along a section of the Appalachian Trail and is about a mile out to the falls.

729 foot cascading waterfalls which is the 3rd highest East of the Mississippi River. It’s a short hike but it can be strenuous for some as you are walking up an incline for most of the hike and then there are stairs to climb to get closer to the falls. You can also drive to the top. Very scenic and if you like waterfalls it’s worth the trip. About 35 minutes from the cabin.
