Best wine bar in town run by a very knowledgeable Australian-Croatian sommelier. The atmosphere is fun and lively. Sasha, the owner, makes his own bread and puts together one of the best tasting charcuterie boards. In a narrow street across the pathway from a craft beer place so no one misses out.

This is our local. We love going there because the owner (we call her the smiling lady) is always smiling regardless of the day she is having. A rarity in this town :) On offer are all sorts of drinks (great coffee) and healthy breakfast (nothing cooked). At night its a very cool bar with a fire place and books on shelves, comfy chairs and a chill vibe.

Worth a visit is the Cave bar for great cocktails. You can drink inside the cave or go out on to the terrace that sits beside the sea. A bit pricey but an experience non the less.

Swimming spots

This is our local swimming spot. The views are stunning and the water is deep and crystal clear. The bathing area is roped off so no boats can come in. There is also a bar there where you can get drinks and just sit and relax.

This is another lovely place to swim and enjoy the sunset. The water is shallower and enables you to ‘walk in’. There are showers and WC facilities, plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars on the beach and on the pedestrian strip leading up to the bus stops. You can also take a walk along the bay (on the western side) and enjoy some of the best views of the Adriatic.

Sightseeing

This is a must do on your trip to Dubrovnik. The best time is early in the morning or later in the evening while it’s still light but cool. The views are stunning and the aspect the walk gives you of the Old Town is priceless. There is a cafe/bar along the way for drinks and snacks, but we recommend you take a bottle of water. Depending on your fitness level, you can walk the entire route or come off the wall earlier.
