This place has amazing pasta and pizzas. I've been here many times and haven't had a disappointing dish yet. My favorites are the Gnocchi Bolognese and the seafood pasta on the specials. Delicious!

This coffee spot is closest to the house and is a new addition to the LIC coffee scene. They're well-known in Manhattan and I'm so glad they opened an outpost in Queens. If only the hours were longer!

I highly recommend their Mole de Piaxtla - the best chicken mole of my life - and their cheese ice cream for dessert - it's scrumptious!
