Drinks & Nightlife

Great dive bar with that classic relaxed, pre-hipster Portland vibe that made people love this city in the first place. Cheap drinks, dim lighting, cool people, well-chosen post-punk music, tasty food.

Food Scene

Incredible value, delicious full dinners at lunch prices: prime rib special is $12 and most things are cheaper (lamb shank, beef brisket, swordfish steak salad, salmon sliders). My favorite food place on earth. Closes early (4pm usually).

High-end Peruvian restaurant with adventurous chef and top-notch drinks (including the best Pisco Sour in the Northwest.) The consensus best restaurant around (in walking distance). Wise to make reservations, but you can often eat in the bar without.
