Choice of beaches - sandy with chance of sharks teeth fossils on the Barton beach, and pebbles and sand on the Highcliffe beach. Closest to Ringwood and Highcliffe doesn't get too crowded. Lots of eateries in the village and on cliff top.

Entry is free if you walk or cycle in (see google maps, can be cycled to from near flat along the old railway cycle path), but you pay for parking. Visitor centre, restaurant and shop there, and acres of forest to explore. Bike hire available, play trails, Go Ape, miniature railway, adventure playground.
