My favorite places to eat!

Just the best tamales of the City, if not the country! Taste the tamales of "lomo con aceitunas" (tener fillet with olives) and you're lost forever :) For early birds! if you arrive after 9-9:30 am, you may have no much choices...they sell out quickly!

Maybe my favorite place to eat in CDMX... it's fun, it's good, it's cheap, it's GREAT! My recommendation: if you're not afraid of spicy, taste the "gran chinampa" or the "tortón Genaro's, my favorites ; la "megaqueca" is also delicious... but so is almost everything! (maybe, skip on the baguettes)

In the Condesa. Great pizza (ask for the 6 cheeses one... omg), nice live jazz music on Thursday. Relax place for a drink, staff super cool -and a nice smoking area if needed!

I'm mad for the "envueltos de estragón" (sweet bread with tarragon), it's just sooo good. Bread by made "Rosetta", THE reference in CDMX. Good place for breakfast, brunch, sweet break.

Close to home

Close to the house, very cozy, hidden, nice place, to have breakfast, a drink or a bite! Wood-fired pizza (my favorite: "pera con gorgonzola"), nice artesanal beers... you'll love it!

If you want a typical Mexican breakfast, in a funny colorfull place, this is for you! 5mn walking from the house, just go down on Revolucion. It gets really packed on weekends and you may have to wait a bit... but that's a good sign! ;)

It's actually not a restaurant, just a small "puesto"... but there's always a line, because the hamburguesas are so good! My pick: "especial con piña"!
