Food scene
This is a great place ( newly built) that you can walk over to and take advantage of tasting some local wines and have a bite at the bistro. The food has been consistently good, service is great and view of Chimney Rock can’t be beat.

Breathtaking views, take the 500 steps or go up in the elevator through the mountain to Chimney Rock. The park has 3 hikes, from easy to moderately strenuous, 2 gift shops, ice cream at the top. See Hickory Nut Falls, a 400 ft waterfall that was a backdrop for many scenes in “The Last of The Mohicans”
