A scenic drive a few minutes from Kommetjie is Scarborough. A stunning small and fairly private beach, can have good waves for surfers if the swell is right.

Good restaurants and great entertainment for kids. There is a reptile park and small feeding enclosure with mainly farm animals. You can also have a camel rides and shop at some of the local boutiques.

1hour 45 minute guided beach ride leaving from Imhoff Farm Kommetjie, riding straight thru the wetlands for about 20minutes onto beautiful Noordhoek beach. Riding along the water’s edge or the back pan towards Chapman’s Peak and back. A variety of wild life can often be seen on the beach rides e.g. birdlife, whales, otters and seals. We have 3 rides daily 9am, 1pm and 5pm ( December – Mid March) or 9am, 12.30 pm and 4pm depending on the season (Mid March – November). They cater for all levels of riders with a min age of 12 years and a max weight of 95kg/ 14.9stone/209 pounds.
