Drinks & Nightlife

This pub makes its beers in-house, and has a very international staff (which means there is likely someone there who speaks your native language!)

Food Scene

Huge plates for very decent prices. The food is quite good, especially for a brasserie. Service continu - which means they are open all day long for you to grab a bite.

Menu changes daily, and is always interesting and delicious. Great if you want to get away from the typical French food offered almost everywhere!

Our favorite restaurant - typical Basque fare and inexpensive, with lots of little bars nearby for a "rum arrangé" (house-flavoured rums - must try!) after dinner. Note: cash only, no reservations.

The absolute best pain au chocolat and chausson aux pommes I have ever tasted - and I test them consistently. They serve easy take-away lunch as well (huge variety of sandwiches and salads).

Everything Else

A big and gorgeous park where you can wander or have a little picnic. Just by the skatepark are some ping pong tables, and we have paddles and balls for you to take with you there!

Shopping

Lots of shops, restaurants, and a movie theatre, all in a rather charming setting. These buildings were used to store wine arriving from all over France in times past.
