Drinks & Nightlife

A 30 minute walk or a $10 Uber ride, the Bayou Wine Garden is an extension of the Bayou Beer Garden. This is where the locals go for great wine and food and it is always fun. In the Spring they have a great crawfish boil and oysters but at all times you'll find an eclectic crowd of all ages.

Food Scene

Fabulous, locals restaurant that perfectly typifies what a New Orlean's neighborhood restaurant is like. The food is great, the people are super friendly, there's a great sidewald patio and usually a good sized crowd so go early.

Many people come to New Orleans just to tour the historic cemeteries. Headstones date back hundreds of years and a guided tour is a true educational experience.

The museum itself is fabulous but just yards away are the Sculpture Garden and Big Lake park where you can rent a canoe or bikes to tour around the park at your own pace.
