A delightful one bedroom chalet near to the picturesque village of Drewsteignton. The chalet is located within a small holding with the family home close by. The property is within close proximity to the A30 and within 16 miles of Exeter Airport. The self contained chalet comprises a double bed, fully equipped kitchen and shower room. Wi-Fi. The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with The National Trust's Castle Drogo half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate is beautiful for walking along the River Teign with wonderful views across Dartmoor.

Perfect for exploring Dartmoor, dog-friendly

The Potting Shed is small but perfectly formed for 1 or 2 people to stay in complete compact comfort. And it's dog-friendly! An entrance lobby for coats and boots leads into an open plan kitchen, living area and bedroom, plus a walk-in shower room. There is a shop in the next village, about a 10 minute walk away. The King's Arms pub is 50m away, a friendly local serving good pub food. Discounts for longer stays: 3 nights 5% and 7 nights 10%. Sorry, we cannot accept children or infants.

Our barn is well situated between London and Cornwall, and is on the cycle route from Land's End to John o' Groats. We offer peaceful, simple accommodation, in a converted barn. The decor is simple, eclectic and stylish, possibly shabby chic. The building is spacious yet intimate , with a comfortable bed, cosy sofa, and a wood burner. The barn is completely separate from the main house where we live, by about 30m. Although we are mostly here, the barn feels very secluded.
