Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. Apartment with terrace, in the heart of the medieval village of Balazuc, label "most beautiful villages in France". Ideal for 2 people. In a stone house (that of my ancestors), whose foundations are from the 13th century. I have just completed the complete renovation. The rental allows me to finance the rest. My place is close to the Ardèche River. You will appreciate it for the view, decoration and pebble alleys. In the summer, I prefer week-long stays from Saturday to Saturday.
