Accommodation next to the lake! 4+2 beds winter and 8+2 summer. Do excursions from here to the forest which is around the corner or take a refreshing ice skating ride, rowing trip or swim in the lake. Or just relax with a sauna or jacuzzi. Please note - Friggebod on plot which has two bunk beds is available April - October. Cleaning not included. Bed linens are included as well as towels and 4 bath towels and other essentials are included such as hand soap and toilet paper. A travel bed for small children is available.

Cozy accommodation in rural setting 2 mins from E 16 between Gävle and Falun. In our studio, a large family or a small group of friends gets a place. A good location for all kinds of winter sports. And a free space for those looking for inspiration for some artistic project. The house is worn but has a warm atmosphere that is characterized by imagination and joy. There is a piano and a sewing machine. The price includes bed linens, towels, cleaning, firewood and basic materials to try different creative techniques.

Cottage close to nature, lake, golf, and padel

Our cottage, called Visthuset by Långnäs Herrgård (Långnäs Manor), is an old larder from the 19th century. In early 2000s it was renovated and used as permanent residence for some years. For the last decade it has been a self-catered holiday rental for up to 4 persons. The cottage is situated by the lake Stor-Gösken, roughly 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club first tee and Hofors Padel. Hofors and surrounding areas offer many possibilities for sport and sightseeing. Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Lake cabin with all the amenities by the fishing lake.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: The ice is now March 19 still thick, but can start to become landless facing south. The snow about 10 cm. Any ski tracks nearby. Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

You live in the Crow's Nest, a converted barn, secluded, on our property. An apartment about 70 sqm housed in a barn, with 6 sleeping places, divided into 4 bunk beds and a divisible double bed, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower. We've provided the Crow's Nest with a Google Home device. If you don't want to use it, just unplug it. :) However, it is an invaluable tool for the visually impaired, for example.

Beautiful old house in Torsåker

Separate two bedroom apartment in turn-of-the-century house, situated on the outskirts of the small village of Torsåker with beautiful views of the hills and fields. Perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. (We are closed over the winter months because of the energy-prices. Welcome back in the spring, we open up again at the end of april 2023!)
