Beautifully converted using natural building materials, the space is light, peaceful and open, heated with a cosy wood burner. The interior is handmade, restored or salvaged by us. We provide Sourdough bread, homemade jam, a homemade tipple & a few staples on arrival Leave no trace, to protect this special environment we have installed a modern ceramic compost loo.

“My favourite place ever to stay” a guest said. Just a little piece of heaven on the side of a hill with views to die for. And down the road from 1Michelin Star Restaurants!!! Two bedrooms with beds for 7 people. As well as a cot bed on request. Only up the hill from both Baltimore and the famous Lough Hyne Nature Reserve a beautiful walk away .A short boat trip to both Cape Clear Island and Sherkin Islands. A great base for seeing all West Cork on both land and sea. :) Everyone comes back.. :)

The Bitter End is a small but perfectly formed lofted apartment on the Wild Atlantic Way in rural bliss near Ballydehob. Attached to our 1850's farmhouse but totally private, it sleeps 2 in a double or split twins, and 1 on a sofa bed(not recommended for 3 for long stay) Great outside space too. Fully equipped mini kitchen, sky TV, WiFi. The stairs is an alternate tread space saving unit, so you need to be sure-footed. Plenty of parking. Great walks straight out the gate. Close to the sea.
