Wonderful house in a nice street. Lynn and Zeke were so nice, we felt very welcome. Public transport to Long Beach very close.. we absolutely recommend staying with Lynn and Zeke... And of course their lovely pets 😺

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights while we went to Disneyland. We were a bit nervous about only having a private room, but it was always quiet and we felt like we had privacy. The animals are super cute and BB knows a few tricks and likes to be pet, all super friendly. We only met Z, but he was super friendly and very accommodating to us.

Lynn and Zeke have thought of everything, from a very clean and organised property ( which is exactly as it appears on the picture) to the breakfast offering with coffee included. Their pets are beautiful and well behaved and I was able to relax and try to get over my jet lag in a peaceful serene environment. Thank you. Asante Sana!! Alfrida

We were so appreciative that we found Lynn and Zeke’s cozy home! This was an amazing stay; we enjoyed a comfortable room, our own clean bathroom, and very thoughtful hosts. It was very close (short walking distance) to the bus lines that lead to downtown Long Beach. Great location! I felt very safe in this neighborhood as well.

This is truly a lovely listing. It’s clear why what is being shown has such a high level of recognition in a market that’s so saturated with half-assed home-hotels. This tiny treehouse is incredibly cute and has an austere mysticism about it that really lends itself to the “living in the hills” mentality. Mathias is very particular in his verbiage, which would point towards past experiences fueling a need to explain how to avoid instances which would disobey the comfortability of living above his main house space. This is a great quality to have as you don’t want to anger who is hosting you, but can promote a slight aspect of walking on eggshells when on the property. Us as hosts as well it’s trepidatious pointing this out, but in truth the rules and regulations he’s outlined are a great way to ensure you are the right fit for this stay. Do read everything and communicate clearly. It helps your host live at ease while you occupy a space they’ve worked hard to curate for you. We’d absolutely stay here again. It’s a great experience considering the view and the proximity to a lovely part of town.

Needed a spot where I could get some silence to write during the afternoon, those windows gave me a greater gift than silence, it let a breeze in that lent me one of the greatest naps I’ve ever had. The evenings view through those windows was just as potent. All creative objectives my partner and I had for that evening were completed. The drive up the hill was interesting, communication and access all on point. Will definitely return for another nap!

What a beautiful spot in a perfect location. The accommodations are exactly as pictured, and we can’t wait to book our next stay!

Mathias’ place felt like a hidden gem amongst the trees. Watching the sun rise and set over the city right from the bed was lovely but even better from the bathtub!

Michael's place is awesome and super well located. I was in LA for work and it felt like I was coming back home. The place was clean, the decoration was perfect and the projector was a huge surprise, as I am a huge fan of movies. Perfect for one to two people. Recommend it!

Michael’s place is extraordinary- So well appointed and extremely comfortable. Michael greeted us upon arrival and helped us with parking, getting our bags in, and made sure we had milk for our morning coffee. My husband was able to work in the mornings at the desk and I read out on the porch where there is a view of the Hollywood sign. We walked up to Griffith observatory and the Hollywood walk off fame, visited paramount studios and LACMA. On our last evening, we curled up on the large, comfy sofa and watched a movies on the pull down screen. What a treat! We were in LA to see our daughter who is a graduate student at USC, it was so easy to fit these activities in while she was busy with her studies. We will not forget this trip and our stay in Hollywood. We plan to stay here again.

Overall a comfortable well appointed spacious upstairs studio. A quiet location close to Griffith park. It's also within walking distance of good restaurants and a Gelsons for delicious take out. Amenities include a kitchen with coffee machine. Also an 8 foot projection screen and a stock of recent movies, TV and Netflix. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Perfect space for a single traveler or a couple. This was our second stay at Steve’s place. It’s small but mighty. Steve has everything you could ever need. I appreciated the clothing steamer, it came in handy. Such a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and so convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. There is street parking available but we opted to take Lyft everywhere and a car was always available within 2 minutes. I would stay here again for sure.

Christian and Meredith’s place is a classic Elysian Hills experience. The owners are young LA bohemians who were friendly and responsive during my stay. The rental was very clean and well decorated and I enjoyed chilling out there when not running around Los Angeles.

Christian and Meredith’s place is very cozy and comes with all the comforts like a coffee maker, Netflix on tv, and if you love music there’s a record player in the room :) Bed was super comfy, water pressure in shower was great. The space is nice and quiet and the view is really beautiful - you can see the Hollywood sign as well, and it was easy to catch an Uber/Lyft to get around, we didn’t near to rent a car while we were there. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. I would highly recommend their place to anyone visiting LA!

Christian and Meredith’s space was beautiful! The view from up there was incredible. I felt so relaxed while I was up there. The quiet and serene location was a nice escape from a day exploring the city. Check in and check out was quick and simple. The space had everything I needed and there was a binder that had some useful tips about the space / the area. Getting around was pretty easy, too. Uber and Lyft drivers had no issue finding the place, and it’s still fairly close to the downtown area. Echo Park was a fun place to explore too! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Angela is the consummate host. She made me feel at home, she is also quite the baker. She had good info about what were good places to eat. Her place is in great working condition with nice bathroom and comfy bed and soft bedsheets. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay close to beach. Access to LAX is easy also. Wi-Fi was wonky one day but Angela is on top of it and was conducive to doing work or watching Netflix. Angela is a great host and receptive to a guests needs.

Y’all. Angela and Bailey (her incredibly cute doggo) were our saving graces after a previous 3night stay at a disgusting Airbnb in East LA. We were tired and disappointed and frankly, grumpy as hell. When we arrived we wandered down a path that led to the darling cottage and there we found a patio with lights and flora everywhere and an orange tree! Then, as a cherry on top a tiny little white blur darted over to us completing our perfect evening by the fire. We honestly tried to add an extra day but our schedules wouldn’t allow for it. In every nook you find little extras that make your stay more home-like. We will definitely be staying with Angela again on our future trips to LA.

Angela is a fantastic host. Her bungelow is the most adorable tiny home. It is perfect for couples, or two adults and a small child. It is a charming space with a gorgeous outdoor patio area and private mini deck and fire pit in the back. If you are looking for the perfect home base for your LA experience, look no further!

This bungalow is absolutely everything we needed and more. In addition to all the amenities the private entrance and back porch was stunning and unexpected! Amazing stay! We knew we would have a good time but it was even better than expected. The space is cozy and comfortable. A few nights we were invited to go out with friends and instead choose to stay in and watch some Netflix because of how comfortable we got. Easy access. Very clean. Joe's Airbnb is quiet so I was able to rest very very well. Likewise the bedroom and shared bathroom were clean. The location is great, near to freeways and to one of my favorite Mexican restaurants, Taconazo. I recommend Joe's Airbnb.

This was our first time using an AirBnb and we were nervous and didn’t know what to expect. Eureka was such a friendly host, gave us a quick tour, gave us the key and gave us privacy. She was just a text away if you needed anything and quick to respond! We came to CA for a music festival and would come home late. We were worried to wake them because of their dogs (GREAT SECURITY) but they were nice and said it was okay! The backyard is BEAUTIFUL and they even gave me some lemons from their back yard. The tv and snack amenities were amazing especially after a long day! We didn’t even want to leave our first night there. WE WILL BE BACK. I loved everything about it.

Alfredo and Eureka's place was by far one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. The place was super cute and immaculate. They put thought into every room and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They provided non-alcoholic beverages, after asking us what our preference was, and even provided more than what we suggested. They stocked the cabinets with snacks and soups for us in the event we needed something to munch on during our stay. There was more than enough towels, blankets, and pillows to accommodate our party of 3 females. They even went above and beyond by getting me a birthday cake and card to welcome me for my birthday weekend. That was appreciated more than they'll ever know. The location was great and we did not have any problems getting around the city or to any of the major sights. The roosters crowing didn't even bother us because we loved the place so much. I would highly recommend this place to anyone else visiting the LA area.

You can expect a clean space and comfort. It makes you just be excited to want to go back to the place and just relax. Eureka is very nice and respectful gas replies. Anything go wrong they’re quick to reply and fix the issue. this is the perfect place to stay if you’re visiting LA

The little cottage is sparkling clean! Alfredo & Eureka always ask me in advance what I would like to drink during my stay & they provide it in the refrigerator. A really nice touch to their hospitality. This is my "go to" place whenever I'm in town!

Simple clean and affordable. For this price don’t expect something luxurious. I was pleasantly surprised though to have a small refrigerator and microwave in my room. I guess I missed that note. However would have liked somewhere to hang clothes and a maybe a folding stand to put my suitcase on, instead had to use the table. Walls are a little thin but I really only needed a place to sleep, shower and clean with safe parking, which I got. Will keep in mind for next trip to LA.

The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. Their bed sheets felt like we were sleeping in clouds. We enjoyed our stay and it was easy to get to. We would come back again. They had Netflix so while we got ready to go to Disney, it kept up occupied. Very nice stay and they are really nice.

The bedroom and stay is beautiful! My husband and I went down to go to Universal for a 3 day weekend. The house was beautiful as clean. The family was so sweet offering coffee in the morning. And the bathroom was beautiful and clean. Bed was a little hard but nothing that turned us away! TV and PlayStation was provided, heaters in case you get cold and a giant space to yourself. Not to mention the sweet cat that greeted us every morning. Definitely will stay there again for future visits.

Hector was very kind, he let us leave our luggage before check-in time and kept our bags for a few hours after check out since we had a night bus and nowhere to leave luggage until that time

Great place to stay at small but comftrable. When they say parking is hard they mean it. Lots of people living in nieghborhood will purposley leave small spaces where people cant get into. Great communication with host and responded in good time.

Kamal was great- his home is beautiful, hands down the nicest hot tub I have ever been in even better than hotels. We needed towels and Kamal was fast to accommodate our needs and help with the tub controls. The guest house is nice, spacious, and had Netflix and coffee for the morning. There’s no pans or utensils to cook or bake so be ready to go out. Neighborhood is very nice 10/10 would recommend and would stay again next time in Pasadena !

Jun's apartment is in a great location. The airport only takes 40 minutes by car. This is already a good location in Greater Los Angeles. Of course, you must rent a car! Block parking can be a minor issue, so it's best to find a good place to make sure that your car is legally parked when you go back every night! Overall, the Jun family is very kind and enthusiastic! thank!

The surrounding environment is quiet, clean and clean. It is about ten minutes away from the bus stop in downtown. The most important thing is this incomparable price-performance ratio ~ highly recommended!

They are very easy going very punctual and they are so sweet. I felt like I was right at home!

Very hospitable home. The host was so accommodating and quick to respond to me. I was given privacy and was even given the bigger room when I had reserved the small room initially. I enjoyed my stay.

My boyfriend and i had an comfortable stay at the Gama’s. The room is cozy and clean. The parking space given to us was very convenient considering how hard it is to find street parking in the neighborhood. I loved visiting my hometown and would definitely stay again for my next visit.

The owner allows the use of the kitchen, bathroom and living room. No communication problems. The room is locked. The owner is not intrusive and if you do not want communication is not imposed. Perfect for one night

Large room with a large bed and a sofa bed, ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Jace is a lovely host, very responsive at the communication level and he accepted our very late arrival. We also enjoyed being able to cook our meals. In short, I highly recommend!

Jace's place was exactly as advertised. An affordable place to sleep and shower. Microwave to use, comfortable bed, and roku TV for netflix/hulu. I stayed with my Girlfriend and 8yo son for the weekend. The room was spacious with a nice little couch that folded out to a futon in addition the the regular bed. Perfect for the boy. Parking was not an issue as there always seems to be spots available directly north of the property on Santa Fe'. Overall happy with the stay and hope it is available again the next time we need.

Wendy's place is nice, neat, and very comfortable. Everything you need is provided in the house which is great! I would gladly rent this place again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is spacious and clean. There was a small smell when we first arrived. But it was probably just from being un-used. Nothing a wall air freshener can't fix. Overall it was a great stay. I recomend staying here.

Good place to rest and close to downtown and many interesting places

There was no issue in terms of communicating with Wendy. She replied quickly and was accommodating of our needs. The house was sparkling clean and well-decorated. The cabinets in the kitchen are all labeled so you’ll know where to find the trash can, cookware, etc. My guests walked in to find a lovely surprise—a bottle of sparkling cider in a bucket of ice—that was a nice touch haha. Wendy has very detailed information about the amenities and specifically, how you should clean up after yourselves prior to checking out. It was a bit intimidating at first, especially with the instructions being in all caps but we get that time is money. If you follow through with the detailed instructions, it’ll create less of a hassle for the cleanup crew and you won’t be charged extra for the service cleaning fee. When in doubt, look through the house manual they have underneath the tv! Overall, a value stay at a lovely house with a kind host! Thanks Wendy!

Wendy is probably one of the kindest people I’ve met. Her response time is quite fast, and her instructions are crystal clear. Her place was absolutely beautiful and I loved every moment of my stay. This is definitely somewhere you want to stay, and hate when you have to leave.

Safe place close to many restaurants, and a Walmart. Price is very reasonable and space is perfect for two. Hope to stay with them again!
