Wonderful gem of a B&B the decor is beautiful, Pauline is so thoughtful and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Not many local places to eat as it’s a very small village so I would advise having dinner made on your arrival. Book it now it’s just gorgeous.

Pauline was amazing. I booked at the last moment for the weekend and we arrived with 1h30 late and despite that she welcomed us warmly! We really wanted pancakes and she was kind enough to make us feel good for breakfast. The Eugénie suite is perfect! We slept at one stroke! The bathroom is superb. Everything is decorated with care, I am impressed to see how much Pauline has thought of every detail! She even booked us access to the Jacuzzi at Chateau des Vigiers and a table for two in the brewery. Finally, she sent us a small text with all the good addresses in the region. The little touches that made our stay perfect!

ghis place is a good location from the airport and nice surroundings

Ghis's place was very clean, organized and she greeted us by driving us by car when we couldn't find our way around in order to find the house. She was very polite and we had a great stay! The pool was really fun!

Ghis has a beautiful house, and an annex for her guests. She is very hospitable, and wants to make her guests really feel at home. As the place was a bit hard to find, I texted her and she immediately came to the rescue by picking me up by car! Lovely detail: there is a swimming pool you can use, which is really very nice on a hot day.

Host very friendly and helpful. Calm and very relaxing in this dependence overlooking a large pool. I recommend, you can go there with your eyes closed.

Brigette's is one of the loveliest hosts I have met, she speaks very good English and loved to practice! Her and her lovely cat were so welcoming, it can be daunting, being a woman who was travelling alone, but I didn't have to worry! The space was lovely with a comfy bedroom and clean bathroom. The lovely touches and extra effort Brigette goes too were appreciated, such as citronella oil in the bedroom and the lovely breakfast. Brigette even gave me a lift to the airport. A wonderful stay with a welcoming friendly host.

We had the most wonderful stay at Chantal's place. The apartment is perfect for a couple- clean, bright, homey and perfectly located right next to the main square, where every Saturday there's the most amazing outdoor market. It was a pleasure to be able to park our car just outside on the street (for free), and just walk around this enchanting small town. But the best feature is the host: Chantal is the sweetest person you would ever meet, and, together with her son Alex, they make the 'perfect team'. We shall definitely come back!!!

This was an OK place for budget accommodation. A little bit dark for my tastes and maybe it hadn't been aired for a while as it was out of season. There is a shaded courtyard which might be nice when it's hot. We never met or spoke to Jenny, only exchanged messages re where the recycling centre was. John came round on the second evening which was timely as we had just realised the fridge freezer wasn't working properly. He got us another one within less than half an hour. He was helpful and friendly. He also showed us where things were. The condition of the listing that you leave the place exactly as you find it or get charged 50€, made me a bit paranoid. I would be fine with paying 20€ but 50€ is excessive. The location is a tiny hamlet with a boilangerie and not much else

We have a very nice stay with Wim and family. We were welcomed with a fun apperitive in the "Place d'Apéro". Wim provides a delicious breakfast and makes the pool available for a refreshing swim. Very quiet and beautiful environment and a very nice family to stay. Super!

Perfect! Cécile is a wonderful host and the apartment is very cosy, private, clean and well equipped. It is a small space but well organised and has all the amenities needed. The apartment is part of a larger house but has its own private entrance at the back. About 15 min easy walk to the city centre and to a bakery for croissants in the morning. Cécile had some great tips for restaurants and was all-around very helpful. We spent a wonderful weekend here.

Contact and reception worked very well. The room on the first floor is not too big, but nice and very quiet, the bathroom is almost on its own. Only the steep spiral staircase to the first floor is a challenge for the guests, especially with luggage ;-) A dinner for a donation may be possible; I really enjoyed it. On foot you can reach the small town of Sainte Foy-la-Grande and the train station. From there, there are plenty of interesting opportunities for things to do without a car: Bergerac, Sarlat, Saint Emilion, Bordeaux :-) I can only recommend accommodation at and the hospitality of Fabienne.

We spent 2 weeks for Christmas / New year's at Isabelle's place during our retreat at plum village. It's 10 minutes by car from there, so it was very practical for that purpose. The apartment has everything you need, and if something is missing Isabelle is very helpful. There's even a garage right in front of the apartment, that was nice to have in winter time. There is electric heating with a timer, so the living room was comfortably warm when we got back in the evening. We also enjoyed the fact that there is a bakery just across the street, you can get fresh baguette and croissants in the morning. The village is very small and quiet which was perfect for our purposes. Thank you for everything, it would be nice to come back in summer some time!

We were two to stay in this charming studio. Upon booking, Johanne has shown available and answered any questions we might have. The apartment is near the city center and is close to amenities. It is still located in a quiet side street and is therefore absolutely not noisy. Many free parking spaces are available near the slot. About the studio itself, it is well appointed and well equipped. Johanne is a pleasant and charming host who made sure we had everything we needed and that is cared about our well-being throughout our stay. We highly recommend this apartment so we could visit this wonderful region.

A perfect stay: thanks to a generous welcome, really helpful and very responsive if necessary, through a practice studio, conveniently located near the old town and especially thanks to the hospitality and good permanent mood prevailing among our guests the weekend. A big THANK YOU to them!

This was wonderful place to stay for a week. The location is great, very quiet but only 10 minutes walk from the old town or the train station. The hosts went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable; lending me a bike and showing me around some of the best places in town, including the poorly advertised Parc Pombonne. They are very laid back and easy to get on with, very good at responding to messages, and had great recommendations for how to spend the time. I would recommend this place as a good base for a cycling holiday or with a car hire as there aren't many bus links. The flat was in great condition having only just been redecorated and all of the essentials were there.

We were very well received by Véronique and her husband. They are full of good addresses and good advice. All this in a pleasant place very nice. It is with pleasure that we will come back.

We had 3 wonderful days with our 3 month old baby! The coolness of the night was very pleasant thanks to the good duvet provided, the heat of the day pleasantly lived thanks to the idleness in the hammock, in the shade of the trees as well as some ploufs in the swimming pool. The bathroom very clean and very nice, the decoration of the tent made with many tastes .... Véronique and Sebastien build a project that makes sense, with great intelligence, taste and a sense of detail. Their welcome is warm, accommodating and enriching exchanges! In short, we do not go there to spend the night. We are resourceful and can not wait to come back!

We spent a beautiful weekend here. The place was exactly like the pictures. It was a great way to escape but there are also many things to do, walks, visiting towns ect. Véronique and her family made us feel very welcome. Hopefully we will be back soon!

The photos and reviews just don't do this place enough justice. Véronique's beautiful home is pure paradise and we cannot wait to return next year. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, Véronique and her family were the perfect hosts. Fresh warm bread, home made preserves, juices and freshly brewed coffee awaited us each morning, alongside many other organic and home made breakfast treats. I'm vegan and Véronique catered for this just beautifully. Meanwhile my friends were served a cooked breakfast including fresh bacon and eggs from the free range hens roaming the site. Véronique is a magnificent chef and we enjoyed a four course meal under the stars in the evening. The actual tents themselves are beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We all slept like babies each night, the site is so peaceful, here you are truly at one with nature. You can see the goats freely roaming in the fields, feed the chickens In the mornings and at night, the view of the stars is breathtaking. You can see the curvature in the sky where it's so clear. The ensuite shower rooms are really clean and accommodating and the showers themselves are lovely and warm. There is also an on site bar which we made good use of! Organic local wines and beers are served, Véronique has incredible music taste and we were serenaded with soothing world music throughout the days and evening. Véronique's home is a must visit, her wonderful husband Sebastian and her lovely children truly made us feel so special, we just wanted to stay for longer. The town is about about 20-25 minute walk away, we also visited 'The Naked Vigneron' a local wine tasting chateaux ran by another very sweet couple. There are certainly things to do in the area, but I'd recommend staying on site, laying in the hammock, swimming in the pool and being fed like royalty by Véronique and her wonderful family!

Saussignac is well worth a visit - especially for people seeking peace and quiet. The small house stands in the middle of grape vines in a secluded location. The photos are exactly the same as reality. Despite the seclusion, sights and shopping opportunities are easily accessible. The contact with Olivier was very cordial and uncomplicated.

This is a wonderful location to enjoy the wine region of the Dordogne. The views from the house are simply fantastic and you won't tire of waking up to the views through the vines and down the valley towards Bergerac. The host Olivier and his family are very friendly and welcoming with local knowledge of the region and worthwhile places of interest. We recommend if you have children to visit the Chateau de Broidoire which has many indoor and outdoor games to entertain the whole family. Other places not to miss are the caves at Padriac and the drive past Rocamadour and Beynac are simply spectacular! Oliver's wines from Chateau Le Tap are fantastic! Enjoy your stay!

Absolute calm in the middle of vineyards in a typical house of 200 years. Olivier greeted us very well, with valuable advice. We had a nice tasting in his field.

A lovely and quiet Gite amongst the vines. Fantastic views. Great hosts ... who love sharing about their wines. A five minute walk to the local village where you can find local restuarant and cafe. About a 20 minute drive to Bergerac for supplies ... passing some great patisseries along the way. A very relaxing place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay with Olivier in Saussignac...all of the positive reviews are well deserved & accurate so we won’t repeat them! From a personal point of view the enclosed outside space was ideal for our dog who was on his first holiday away with us & Olivier helped us to get him in with a local vets for a tapeworm tablet which he had to have recorded in his pet passport to return home to the UK. The area is beautiful & peaceful with some lovely local restaurants & markets...we will definitely be coming back soon...hopefully for a longer stay!
