The Vegetarian Oaxacan Cooking Class, a class in English and Spanish, we will take a tour through a beautiful traditional neighborhood of Oaxaca, lend you a "chiquigüite and mandil" occupied to go to the market traditionally, we will take a tour of the Mercado neighborhood, we will pass the most beautiful churches and we will walk through parks overlooked by beautiful trees, pink, green and yellow quarry houses, I will show you beautiful parks of the colonial neighborhood and secret parks of this area of the city. In the middle of our tour we will meet some fresh organic vegetable and vegetable producers from a village near the city grown organically and harvested in the morning, then we will visit some producers in the neighborhood market, taste some snacks and buy some supplies for our Oaxacan vegetarian cooking class. We will return to our starting point to start the class and provide all the information on our menu, we will prepare everything fresh, a main course, a salad, water and even a dessert and all taken care of by a traditional stove. We will share the food and thank the mother earth and all the presenters, as well as the flavors of Oaxaca and diverse. Hug A Highland allows guests to visit our family owned and operated farm to brush, love, feed, and take nonprofessional pictures with our Scottish Highlands and miniature donkeys! It is a perfect way to get up close and personal with friendly farm animals. This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. My town is located: -20-25 mins approx. from Tulum (downtown) -35-40 mins approx. from Playa del Carmen (downtown) -2 hrs. approx. from Cancun (downtown) If you don’t have a car, or don’t know how to get to this place, please feel free to contact me to get more recommendations on transportation you can use. This is a LOCAL EXPERIENCE. You will get to know, not only these cenotes that have seen us grow up, but places with a lot of meaning to us. We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Instead, if you want to experience our hometown, our cenotes, having adventures, talk to us, share stories and making new friends while getting to know about our project, then you have found the perfect experience for you. What you'll do The first step will be to show you the ingredients that you can find in all Oaxacan homes, one of the advantages of our experience is that we have a garden with herbs and organic chilis. Baldo my son will share his knowledge in mezcal. We have an extend variety of agaves and homemade creations that you need to try. An open bar of mezcal is waiting for you. Snacks? Of course but you need to do Oaxacan style which includes worms, chicatanas and chapulines. Fist course we will offer chileajo tostadas and fruit water. Have you heard anything about the metate and how tortillas are made by hand? Here we will show you how to make tortillas, tetelas and memelitas. One of my specialties is salsas made in a molcajete, we will roast the ingredients over charcoal and comal. In every class we make 4 to 6 salsas depending seasonal ingredients. The mole is the emblem of our cuisine and we will make one of the 7 moles from scratch using a metate, you can’t leave our home without tasting our mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves and a delicious cake. Everyone will participate in the different processes, cutting ingredients from the garden, making sauces and of course eating. Remember, when you visit a house in Oaxaca you have to come with an empty stomach. Other things to note The class is available in English too. Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike. Children under two years old are FREE

Ancient culinary techniques, fresh ingredients, tortillas made from scratch, flavors of our traditional Mexico, everything is set and carefully curated for a cultural and gastronomical immersion to the deepest traditions and roots of our Mesoamerican civilizations. In a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, our Culinary Experience starts off with a brief, yet quite informative, introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine We will also do a mezcal tasting so you can learn how to identify a good one! Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! This all happens in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, recreating the sense of fellowship and warmth of cooking at home with friends.

This restaurant was visited by Anthony Bourdain in 2008. We will try the local soda, beer and sample delicious fruits. You will be able to inmerse in our daily life, to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Bazurto public market and the most important you will have an adventure of how to discover to be a local in Cartagena. I am happy my job is my hobbie, It would be amazing if you can enjoy this hobbie with me. Other things to note The public market is a noisy place, where the smell can be strong sometimes, so if that its not something important for you, then join this experience. Finally, we will visit the town of Guatapé where your guide will show you, the ICONIC UMBRELLA' STREET, ZÓCALOS SQUARE, MEMORY STREET AND ITS MAIN PARK so then you can explore it on your own. Live a true El Yunque rainforest experience with a local. Excellent for foodies and adventure fans. We visit 2 waterfalls and the famous waterslide. TRANSPORTATION INCLUDED. Adventure to pure rainforest and learn the history of its unique flora & fauna like iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 300 year old trees. We drive to the East side of El Yunque Rainforest. On arrival we do a 30 minute hike to the first waterfall & watering hole. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, and scenic waterfall. Further up, after a 15 minute hike (High difficulty level), there is another waterfall with a natural waterslide. We end the trip by stopping for lunch at a local family owned restaurant that serves authentic grandma style food (Food not included in price). The hike for these outdoor wonders requires regular shoes with “good grip” that can get wet and muddy. The trail is very muddy and clothes will get fully wet. NO FLIPS FLOPS OR CROCS ALLOWED. Safety is my priority and we will have a fun adventure to show you the authentic essence of Puerto Rico & secret gems of the rainforest. Good Physical Condition required. Hike can be challenging for participants that are not active or exercise regularly. Bring water, towels/change of clothes for a full day of fun and beautiful new experiences. We'll try an expecial and typical mango ice cream with salt and lemon wich one is including in the tour, and inside my Grandmother's home I will explain you everything about the painful past of la Comuna 13, and our personal histories like locals of la Comuna 13 as well. Then we will take the escalators that leads to the top of the mountain, and I will show you an amazing viewpoint to see all Medellin City, (here we will try more local food). Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. After we will go back to the meeting point to do the end of the tour.

The time and starting point is at 9:00 am in Yolo Hostel located in Provenza Crr # 7A- 77 we will go by private vehicle to the Arenales that is the starting point of the ecological hike, we will be back at Yolo Hostel, at approximately 3:00 pm. This tour includes transportation from Guadalajara and entrances to all the places you see in the photos. The appointment is on Av. Chapultepec, is a very nice area to stay and enjoy the city. That's why we chose that location. We will visit La Rojeña, which is the oldest and most famous factory in José Cuervo, undoubtedly the most emblematic in the history of Tequila. In the historic center of Tequila Jalisco, to get to know its landmarks such as the parish Santiago Apostol, the Plaza Principal, the giant letters and the most famous tequila factory shops. We will have 2 hours of free time so you can eat and continue tasting tequilas. From there we go to the swing and lookout of agaves. In the fields of agave you can take that beautiful photo of the memory and get to know more about the Agave Azul Tequilana Weber plant. We continue our tour to the famous Cantaritos del Guero in Amatitan Jalisco, another very beautiful village in our state. We will be back no later than 7:00 pm at the same point where we leave in the morning, as well as some experts in Tequila! Se recogerá al grupo entre 7:30 a 8:20 de la mañana en sus hospedajes en el centro histórico. Comenzaremos visitando el poblado de Santa Maria el Tule en donde podrás contemplar el milenario árbol del Tule, después nos adentraremos a una comunidad zapoteca en donde se conservan diferentes tradiciones como las bodas, sus formas comunitarias de organización, su lengua y el manejo de textiles de lana siendo este ultimo uno de los mas finos y laboriosos procesos artesanales de Mexico, dando como resultado piezas de arte textil superiores a marcas de lujo, para esto conoceremos un Taller familiar en la comunidad de Teotitlán del Valle. Posterior a esto nos trasladaremos a una fabrica de mezcal en donde tendremos una explicación sobre el proceso de elaboración de mezcal en la fabrica para después tener una degustación de los mismos. También visitaras la zona arqueológica en Mitla pueblo mágico. después de conocer la impresionante zona arqueológica y antes de encaminarnos a Hierve el Agua tendremos un "time food" en un buffet de comida tradicional. finalmente nos adentraremos a las comunidades de la montaña para conocer las cascadas petrificadas de hierve el agua. Al terminar el recorrido regresaremos a la ciudad de Oaxaca y terminaremos el recorrido a una cuadra del Zócalo de la ciudad.

This tour combines two of Southern Utah's most popular activities: exploring scenic slot canyons and horseback riding. First we will climb into the saddle at the stables and conduct a brief riding lesson for the inexperienced riders. No need to worry if you are a beginner, we have years of experience and reserve the best trained horses for our guests. Our ride will take us to the mouth of a beautiful slot canyon where we will dismount and walk a short distance into the canyon. This incredible sandstone formation is very narrow with walls towering several hundred feet high on either side. East Zion is the home to world class slot canyons that can be found nowhere else! Following this stop, riders will again get in the saddle and ride back to the starting point. You will be led by a local guide with years of horse riding experience that will also share the rich cowboy history of small town Orderville that continues to live on today. No experience is required. Great for all skill levels. Your guide will kick things off with a paddle tutorial on the beach. If surf exists, we will help push your kayak through any breakers. As we paddle through La Jolla’s Marine Reserve keep an eye out for Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Pelicans, Dolphin and Gray whales in the fall/winter. Note: We cannot guarantee sea life. If conditions are safe, we will help guide your kayak into Emerald Cave. If it's not safe to enter Emerald Cave, we will still paddle out & explore La Jolla's World-Famous Marine Reserve. At the beginning of the class, we start by describing all the ingredients we will be using while sharing the history of the dish, why it is so popular, and how it is typically presented in our region, Cartagena. As part of our experience, we will teach you how to prepare an appetizer and a main course from start to finish, using your own hands. You will peel, cut, and season all the ingredients in accordance with the Cartagena tradition. Each person will have the opportunity to boil, fry, or grill their food, providing you with a unique culinary experience as you taste dishes that you may not have had the chance to prepare before. The class will be conducted in both English and Spanish, accompanied by background music that harmonizes and integrates what you are learning with the cultural and historical context of the dish. At the end of our class, you will enjoy a full meal that will not only be delicious but will also become an unforgettable memory of your trip to Colombia. Once the experience with the chef is complete, you can choose your preferred beverage in one of our climate-controlled areas, where you will enjoy your delicious meals.

The Vegetarian Oaxacan Cooking Class, a class in English and Spanish, we will take a tour through a beautiful traditional neighborhood of Oaxaca, lend you a "chiquigüite and mandil" occupied to go to the market traditionally, we will take a tour of the Mercado neighborhood, we will pass the most beautiful churches and we will walk through parks overlooked by beautiful trees, pink, green and yellow quarry houses, I will show you beautiful parks of the colonial neighborhood and secret parks of this area of the city. In the middle of our tour we will meet some fresh organic vegetable and vegetable producers from a village near the city grown organically and harvested in the morning, then we will visit some producers in the neighborhood market, taste some snacks and buy some supplies for our Oaxacan vegetarian cooking class. We will return to our starting point to start the class and provide all the information on our menu, we will prepare everything fresh, a main course, a salad, water and even a dessert and all taken care of by a traditional stove. We will share the food and thank the mother earth and all the presenters, as well as the flavors of Oaxaca and diverse.
