This recently renovated cabin is our family's private retreat in the woods. We travel here to fish, hike, build campfires, and spend quality time together. Monterey is the perfect central location to strike out to any number of state parks and visit local attractions. Once you've seen it all, you can come back to Monterey to rest and recharge your batteries at our family's cabin cozy retreat. This cabin can comfortably sleep up to six (6) adults (3 queen beds available).

It is less than 3 miles from downtown Cookeville including the historic West Side District, Tennessee Tech, and Cookeville Regional Hospital. The apartment is completely custom and unique in every aspect. You will have 24/7 access to the host who will go above and beyond for any need you have while still giving you complete privacy. Perched on the edge of a cliff, this cabin offers incredible views of Byrd Creek below. The generous deck high above the ground, amidst towering trees and forest fauna is the perfect place to relax and get back to nature. The cabin does not have a kitchen, bathroom or AC. A short minute walk along a historic moss covered wagon trail brings you to an outdoor kitchen and clean bathhouse. Several large ceiling fans and insulation keeps the cabin comfortable in summer.
