Learn to bake two classic Neapolitan pastries with the third-generation owner of Naples’ legendary Pasticceria Scaturchio, which has been open since 1903. • We’ll begin with an insider’s tour of the pastry shop, sharing stories about my family’s more than 120 years in business, before moving to the test kitchen to begin our hands-on class. • I’ll teach you step by step how to make sfogliatella, a pastry that has dozens of flaky layers and a creamy center, and Neapolitan-style babà, yeasted cakes soaked in a rum syrup. • After baking our pastries, we’ll sit down together in our boutique to taste what we’ve made over a glass of limoncello.
