Workshop How to taste champagne
I propose a Tasting Workshop that takes place in 2 stages. Then, in a second time, you will taste 3 very different champagnes in order to understand the nuances of the Champagne terroir. It could be 100% Chardonnay champagne, 100% Pinot Noir champagne and 100% Pinot Meunier champagne. You will leave by having understood what differentiates champagne from other sparkling wines, but also by having learned to taste it. What is the good champagne glass? At what temperature should it be served? What is a Blanc de Blancs champagne? How to give champagne with a dish. Other things to note This workshop is for everyone, neophytes as amateurs. Winemaker for a day, from the vineyard to the cellar
Hosted by the winemaker or his son with a 1st flute of family champagne, you will take a few steps in the village to the vine: Opposite the Valley, you will learn the winemaker's gestures from November to the September harvest. Back at the press, you can then enjoy another cuvée, accompanied by a gourmet board. We will continue in the cellar to understand the different stages of traditional champagne development and behind the scenes of the winemaker's profession. We will share our winemaking choices, our experiences, and we will disgorge a bottle like the old ones you can enjoy. It will be time to finish with one last cuvée while asking your questions. This is an adventure without artifice, no guide or speech. It's more of a time to share with our family, our environment, and a place of work.
