  • Terry and Sue are great hosts. We loved the beautiful cabin. The welcome was very warm, and the freshly made homemade bread for breakfast was fantastic. We recommend it without a doubt.

  • We had the most amazing time staying at the East Wing, and were taken aback by how clean and cosy the cabin was! We had everything we could have asked for, not to mention the warm welcome from Terry, Sue and Betsy the puppy. Fresh bread in the morning, local tips and the beautiful setting are among the things that made our stay so special. This is an experience we won't forget!

  • Terry and Sue are outstanding hosts. Their hospitality is 10 out of 10. Where else would you get homemade cake and homemade freshly baked bread. We felt completely spoilt, we wish we could have stayed longer.

    Adrian2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is perfect for a relaxing, cosy break. We had a 3month baby with us and it was perfect. There was everything we needed in the cabin - microwave to clean the bottles, kettle to boil water for the milk, a fridge to keep things cool. And Terry moved a cabinet so there was plenty of space for a cot. The cabin is very clean, and modern. The homeade bara brith and fresh bread was a lovely touch. Would 100% stay here again.

  • We had a brilliant stay at Tyr Onnen this weekend. Terry and Sue were excellent hosts - they couldn't have been more accommodating, friendly and lovely. Terry very generously drove us to the wedding we were attending nearby and Sue had great suggestions for where to go for dinner. They brought us freshly baked croissants for breakfast each morning, which we enjoyed in the tranquil setting of the guest porch. The cabin itself is very well maintained, perfectly clean, and excellently kitted out with everything you need, including a great shower. We can't wait to stay again when the opportunity arises!

Whether you want to relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine, cwtch up (Welsh for cuddle up) with a good book, explore the spectacular mountain scenery, walk the coastal path or enjoy wildlife and nature at its best, our cottage is the ideal, cosy, peaceful place to escape to and breathe. Located near the beautiful Georgian town of Aberaeron, market town Tregaron, and university towns of Lampeter, and Aberystwyth, and with a great pub within easy walking distance, you will go home recharged.
Cwtch Cottage has its own separate, secure, and private entrance, as an attached but independent cottage next door to our own house. That means that we are on hand if you need help, but will leave you totally in peace otherwise! Totally self contained and set in 7 acres of fields including a one acre natural spring fed lake and an additional pond teaming with wildlife, depending on the time of year, you will see red kites and buzzards overhead, several species of duck, greylags and Canada geese, and our regular visitors, the heron and the occasional cormorant. There is such low light pollution that you will almost certainly be treated to a stunning night sky, bright stars and breathtaking views of the Milky Way. Cwtch Cottage has its own all year spa hot tub for exclusive use by the cottage guests. It is screened off to ensure your privacy while at the same time allowing you to enjoy stunning views of the lake to the front, the hills and mountains to the side views over extensive country to the rear and the Milky Way and stars at night. There is also a picnic table to the front of the cottage with views over the lake and a bench to the side. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome and we provide a variety of dog bowls and towels too, though please be aware that we have our own dogs and cats who wander around the grounds at will. Please let us know in advance if you are planning to bring your pooch(es) with you so we can make your pet feel welcome too. You are welcome to take a walk around the property, try your hand at fishing as our guests, say hello to our ponies, dogs and cats or just enjoy some undisturbed peace and quiet to help you recharge. The cottage is tastefully decorated and has broadband, a 42" TV with FreeView, a Blueray DVD player with DVDs and a range of books, games and magazines for you to enjoy. There is also an Amazon Firestick connected which you can use to log onto your own account. The kitchen is also very well equipped with halogen hob/grill/oven, microwave, dishwasher and has both a small fridge and large fridge/freezer. There is ample cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots, pans and utensils. A welcome tea tray consisting of Earl Grey and English breakfast teas, green tea and peppermint tea, coffee and hot chocolate together with a choice of biscuits will be ready waiting for you when you arrive. If you need to do some washing, the washer/drier makes life easier and there is an ironing board and decent iron. There is a shower room with shower, WC and wash basin downstairs.
Cwtch Cottage is located in the safest county in the UK, Ceredigion, within easy reach of mountains and coast. Our nearest neighbour is several hundred yards in each direction so peace is guaranteed. If you are a foodie, there's the Hungry Ram less than a mile away which does great food and welcomes well behaved dogs (mention at time of booking which is advised as it is very popular). One of Wales' top pubs, the Talbot in Tregaron, whose chef trained with Pierre Marco White, is only a short drive away. There are numerous other excellent restaurants in Aberaeron, recently recognised as one of the best places to be in the UK. Notable places to eat and drink include The Cellar and Manuka while the Harbourmaster right next door to the harbour offers nationally recognised high quality epicurian delights! In addition, The Hive offers great seafood, and ribs, to go with its renown honey ice cream by day and is a lively bar, with regular live music by night. We are also within an hour of Ynyshir Hall if Michelin starred cuisine is your thing. If you fancy a quiet night in, there is a good Chinese take away, fish and chip shop and kebab shop fifteen minutes away and a great Indian and others within 20 minutes. Equestrian lovers will find themselves in the heart of Welsh cob country and easy reach of some of the world's top studs who welcome visitors by arrangement. For lovers of arts and crafts, there is an active summer arts trail as well as regular fairs and exhibitions. Perhaps a view from Cwtch Cottage could provide the inspiration for your next painting, drawing or photograph! Whatever you enjoy, Cwtch Cottage is well equipped with information leaflets for a wide range of different venues to visit and activities to try if you want to go off exploring.
  • Carolyn’s Place is the perfect retreat for those that want peace, tranquility and the option to go out and explore. I booked a short stay for my fiancé as a Christmas present, and I loved that we could take our dog with us! The cottage itself has everything you’d need, it’s a real home from home. I loved sitting with the curtains open at night and looking at the beautiful clear sky! Carolyn is such an amazing host. She showed us around the cottage, but we were left to relax in our own company, knowing that help was on hand if required! I loved the little touches, like welsh cakes on arrival and even some dog biscuits for our furry baby Gwen. I would 100% book again, as there are so many beautiful beaches and walks to explore, followed by relaxing in the hot tub! Thanks for such a wonderful stay :)

  • What a wonderful place to stay. The wildlife is amazing. The cottage was so cosy on a cold wet night. The hospitality was excellent. What a lovely week we had.

  • Carolyn was so welcoming and gave us some great tips about the area. It felt like we were staying with an old friend. The cottage is lovely and the surrounding space is beautiful.

  • Such a cosy little cottage! Contains everything you need. Super quick communication. The hot tub was lovely with great views. Stayed in a few Airbnb and this was the best one! Xx

  • Carolyn was a fantastic host. We arrived 2 hours later than expected and were greated by Carolyn on arrival she was so lovely and friendly. She gave us a tour around the cottage and explained how everything worked. I'd booked the trip as a surprise for my partners 30th and Carolyn had very kindly bought him a card and a bottle of bubbly for us to celebrate. Carolyn gave excellent recommendations for things to do and where to eat. After a long journey from Plymouth we made the short walk to the Hungry Ram and enjoyed a lovely meal before heading back to relax in the hot tub. Having looked quite hard to find the right place to stay I can honestly stay the cottage exceeded all expectations. The privacy and exclusive use of the hot tub were real bonuses. We will definitely be coming back.

A double room in my comfortable, arty home. Cosy, light, cheerful and homely. House has views over the Teifi valley; close to Canoe club & all amenities; twenty-five minute drive to Heritage coast beaches; great for walkers, cyclists, & nature lovers. Free tea and coffee. Breakfast on request for small additional fee. Other single/double rooms also available on request for an extra fee. Shared kitchen, bathroom and sitting room with log fire. Lovely garden with sun deck and fire-pit. Free WiFi.
Mine is an interesting house which was originally a small school founded and run by Thomas's great uncle, William Marles. The house is large and airy, with newly decorated sitting room. Bay windows look out, over the garden, across the valley to the river Teifi, though you would never guess this from the street. The kitchen is large and has all amenities. The garden is private, sunny and bursting with life. There is a fire-pit for night time stargazing on the deck.
Llandysul is traditional small Welsh town, with a selection of shops, pubs, cafes and takeaways. It is well placed as a base for fabulous local walks and for exploring the beautiful Teifi Valley and the Heritage Coast with its many excellent beaches. As well as exciting activities such as canoeing (Llandysul Paddlers) and coasteering, there is plenty of rolling countryside to discover on foot or on wheels. There is a cycle network easily accessed from Llandysul and the Brechfa forest cycle trail is not far away. There is a Leisure centre with gym and sports hall and swimming pool just a short walk away.
  • Biddy is very welcoming and a great host. The inside and outside spaces are great and she has a powerful shower which warms up very quickly. The garden is a morning sun trap and is a great place to sit and enjoy one of her amazing coffees. I will definitely return in the future.

  • A cute little annex/flat with everything you need for a retreat away. Biddy's artwork gives the place a unique feel and a lot of thought has gone into the set up. You have your own little garden area in which Biddy allowed me to have a fire, even kindly providing me with the firepit! Shops are short walk away if supplies are needed, amazing walks on your doorstep (just walk to the top of the hill and down a track on the left to get to the river!). The camping barn (hay loft) offers the enjoyment of a camping experience without the fuss of a tent, plus its watertight with a roof and stone walls and the added benefit of being secure, for your self catering break. There is a wood burning stove (Kiln Dried Wood £5/bag). Wet room is a short walk across courtyard to another part of the outbuilding. Enjoy our surrounding gardens/fields with walks by the river and fire pit for a riverside barbecue for those warm sunny evenings.
The 'Hay Loft' is essentially a camping barn and as the name suggests used to be for hay storage over the stables beneath, providing basic accommodation for either a romantic break for two or for a family of four, sharing a large open plan space. Beds and mattresses provided and we now include bedlinen, pillows and towels in the price. A woodturning stove is installed (HETAS certified and DEFRA approved) for extra warmth on those cold nights, plus a microwave. The accommodation has its own garden space, but guests are welcome to enjoy our fields and river. A shared wet room is available for guests with shower, basin and wc, which is a short walk down the side of the building to the ground floor of the annex. Outside tap in courtyard area, suitable for drinking water.
Well situated to local shops or 10 minutes down the road two supermarkets in the market town of Lampeter. There is a wide selection of tourist spots within 50 minutes driving time including steam railways, gold mines, NT properties, hill walking, mountain bike trails, beaches and much more

The little river and bridge were a firm fav for our boy too! Stephen and Sarah left us to it but while pottering around were happy to have a natter. Cant wait to come back.

Lovely little detached bolthole in the countryside with private indoor hot tub, but close to the beautiful Cardigan Bay Coastal Path, sandy beaches and the villages of Aberaeron and New Quay where the bottlenose dolphins can be seen. The University Town of Lampeter is approximately 4 miles away with shops and restaurants. Ideal place to chill out relax and unwind from everyday life. This cottage is one of Welshholidays 4U Cottages with private indoor hot tubs in West Wales. NO DOGS ALLOWED
Private detached cottage with private indoor hot tub Quirky little 1 bedroom cottage with garden and private unlimited use indoor hot tub for you to enjoy during your stay. Please note before booking: This is an old cottage set in the countryside, but only a short drive to the beautiful Cardigan Bay Coast where the famous bottle nose dolphins can often be seen. The cottage does has bumpy walls, a low ceiling in the lounge and is far from perfect and has old features still present, you might also come across the odd spider, cobweb and countryside smells as it is in the countryside, but that doesn't mean it is not clean or unhygienic, its part of the character of the cottage and the area it is in. We never claim it to be a 5* property, but we can say it is a lovely cosy cottage. If you are looking for a perfect newly modernised property with nothing out of place and garden that has no character then this one might not be for you. You have full private use of the cottage and hot tub. There are no shops or pubs within walking distance of this cottage and the phone signal is not the best. ** PLEASE NOTE ** This is a self catering cottage NOT a hotel. You are required to bring your own toiletries and your own towels, if this is a problem please advise before arrival.
Approx 4 miles to the historic university town of Lampeter and approx 15mins to the coast of Cardigan Bay where the Bottle-nose dolphins can be seen

Step back in time when you stay in this rare and perfectly secluded 17-18th century manor house where poet Dylan Thomas lived during the war; enjoy tranquil views of organic pasture from your luxuriously regal four-poster bed, with en suite bathroom, tea/ coffee making facilities, free Wifi and delicious buffet breakfast . 15 minutes from the coast and Aberaeron, half an hour south of Aberystwyth, 10 minutes from Lampeter, and 2 miles from local shops and amenities, Gelly is perfectly situated for exploring all of West Wales' beautiful beaches or the famous Dylan Thomas Trail.
Gelly is a house in two parts; the original farmhouse, now inhabited by Rolanda and her family, was built in 1690. The Guest room is situated in the newer Georgian end of the house, where Dylan Thomas famously rented a room with his wife Caitlin during the second world war. With a fabulously comfortable eighteenth-century king-size four-poster bed complete with hand-painted silk hangings, you will be guaranteed a comfortable (and perhaps romantic) night. Relax in the sizeable en suite bath with views over the garden and no one to see in, except perhaps a few cows in the field beyond, or a squirrel. The depth of quiet here is amazing, and optional shutters as well as curtains keep the morning light at bay for that well-earned lie-in. Fall asleep to the hooting of owls and wake to the melancholy whistling cry of the Red kite!
Surrounded by farmland, the house is well removed (and completely hidden) from the road - a welcome escape from the noise and bustle of city life; come here to unwind, renew your spirits or reconnect with yourself (and each other). Guests have access to the idyllic front garden where you can sit and drink tea, go for a walk or simply breathe in the sweet Welsh air. Three white geese and some friendly hens may wander past but will not disturb you. Nature is abundant here - a recent unexpected visitor was a hedgehog in the hallway, but outside is a birdwatcher's paradise. Apart from the daily Red Kite flyovers, we have resident jays, woodpeckers, Barn and Tawny owls, herons and many besides. Moles, toads, shrews, badgers, peacock butterflies are all familiar.
  • Rolanda's home is very special indeed. Utterly charming, a step back in time and in a beautiful secluded spot. A great place to relax and unwind! Hope I get chance to go back again. I'd highly recommend.

  • A thin place: Somewhere that Heaven and Earth touch closely. One of the Dylan Thomas biographies in the lounge room describes Gelli as such a place and I cannot think of a better explanation for you. A treasure of a property and a privilege to have stayed there.

  • Step in time in and escape to a charming home full of history with lovely private grounds. No television only an array of interesting artistic and literary books - and peace and quiet. The room was lovely and spacious and the four poster bed a treat with nice electric blanket for cold wintry nights. The breakfast was simple but delicious - a choice of cereals and lovely fresh sourdough bread with home made marmalade.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, nestled in the Teifi Valley with a lovely walk along the river Teifi on the doorstep.
  • Meet the extra mile hosts! I think I run out of "feedback stars". They are the most welcome and generous hosts I have never met. Nothing is too much for them, they will look into all your needs to make sure you have a extraordinary and enjoyable stay at their place. This also included travelling with my house cat and making sure my cat was also comfortable and happy. Their place is allocated in a very beautiful natural setting yet, not too far from other towns to do any shopping or enjoy a coffe. It is a good place for exploring the West of Wales or choosing to stay and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of their location. Their property is very special shared with other beautiful and friendly 3 cats and few gentle and loving chickens. The house is lovely, modern and very tasfully decorated. It is also kept very tidy and clean with an eco friendly mind set. As well as your room, you have the sun room with the lovely views to their garden and amusing chickens if you feel you would like to relax having a cuppa by yourself. The Blue Room with beautiful views indeed, offered more that what I expected. Very spacious and very beautifully decorated. It has a TV and the bed is super comfortable

COVID-19: Following the latest government advice, we are no longer taking bookings for the period of Friday 20 March to Thursday 30 April 2020. For any holiday after this date we are continuing to monitor the government advice. The Cerbyd is located in scenic peaceful countryside, only a 25-min drive away from the beautiful West Wales coast. With a lovely 4-poster bed and a log burning fire, it is perfect for a weekend getaway. It has high-speed WiFi >20 Mbps.
We are in a secluded quiet area, and yet only 10 minutes drive from Lampeter and all amenities. The Cerbyd is ideal for couples or a small family. It has one large bedroom and sleeps up to three: one king and a single sofa bed (plus cot, if required). You can chill and mingle with our free range ducks and chickens, or walk the hills and valleys. Great for birdwatchers and nature lovers. The nearest beach is a 25 minutes drive away, where you will also find the Ceredigion Coastal Path - a 60 mile long trail.
We are on the hillside above Cellan, a small village. We love the quiet rural setting with Buzzards and Red Kites circling above. We are only a short drive from the small university town of Lampeter.
  • Wonderful return to Ty Cerbyd. The accommodation is very comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed the eggs from the chickens. Thank you for having us again!

    Rachel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This coach-house conversion made the cosiest, quaint cottage, perfect for our holiday away from work and city life and seeing old friends. Daniela and John stayed in touch throughout the 4 days. They provided us with complimentary eggs from there own friendly chickens! Hot drink supplies and wood for the log burner to stay hot! The four poster bed was a dream and the living room was simply marvellous. The area was perfect for star gazing and getting lost within the Welsh countryside...Not literally! This couples retreat is one not to be missed, we will be back!

    Jamie2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place is really lovely if you just want to get away from it all. The views are stunning and it is very peaceful. The whole place is thoughtfully converted, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Good value for money too!

  • Couldn't be better. Beautiful spot. Wonderful cosy cottage. Can't recommend enough.

    Carly2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to spend some time in the quiet. The place was clean and well equipped.

    Liam2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first stop on this Wales trip and the house is located in a beautiful open area with great views. The bedroom had more than enough space for the both of us and the bed was really pretty. We really enjoyed having the log burner in the living room which warmed up the whole place nicely, especially after a long and slightly damp walk. It was amazing having so many animals outside and we loved going on a hunt for James in the woods. It was a bit tricky as he decided to chill out on a rather hilly part of the woods, but we managed to find him. We bought some bread to have with the fresh eggs left for us and fed the rest of the bread to James, who ended up following us around when we went to continue on our walk. We didn't get to meet the hosts, but communication was great and we had everything we needed for our stay. We definitely recommend this place, even more so if you are animal-lovers like ourselves.

    Conner2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • John and Danielas cottage is the perfect place for a cosy few days away. The comfy bed, cosy living room and wood burning stove were ideal for the cold evenings! We were quite unprepared for the holiday so fixings for tea and coffee, and lots of maps, walking guides and recommendations were really helpful in planning our few days! And Poppy the dog loved the fire place and James the Pig too!

    Alex2019-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Idyllic cottage, exactly as shown by the photos, the bed is very comfy and the cottage is spacious and light. Really cosy, quiet and secluded. Lovely special touches by Daniela who was very friendly. Loved meeting the dogs and going to feed James the pig in the gorgeous woodland. Had such a nice short stay, would highly recommend.

The Retreat is exactly that, a lovingly up-cycled, eco static caravan with the most stunning view, perched on the edge of the Teifi valley and surrounded by farmland. We welcome you to come and take a break away from the busy day to day of life and kick back with your favourite drink on the deck and soak up the view in the day and the stars at night.
We welcome you to our little Welsh bubble tucked away at the bottom of a track. Originally a working farm, it was neglected for some years and it is now our accommodation project which we are lovingly restoring with every available minute and penny! We are surrounded by working farms with no close neighbours so you can really get away from it all here in this tranquil spot. Recently rescued and up-cycled the Retreat is a quirky static caravan. It is our first eco project with solar power, a composting loo and a wood burner for heat and has a 60's/ 70's feel, large deck and stunning view. Nestled away in our 10 acres of land but still easily accessible (about 10m from our track) it has all you need for a comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. Ideal for couples or a small family, the main bedroom has a comfy double bed, the 2nd bedroom has two small single beds (a travel cot and highchair are available on request). There is a bathroom with bath/shower and compost toilet, a light and airy lounge with woodburning stove and DVD player. Lastly a well stocked kitchen with a gas oven and hob and a cool box for refrigeration. We also provide these essentials tea, coffee, 1pt milk, crumpets and our own eggs (when available). Perfect for nature lovers and people who enjoy staying in quirky places you are free to explore our wilderness and discover secret resting places in which to relax and unwind. Read a good book next to the bubbling stream, swing in a hammock or kick back on the deck whilst taking in the view across the valley and spot our wide range of resident wildlife from hedgehogs to buzzards and tawny owls.
Llanwenog is a small hamlet with a 13th Century church which is the most complete medieval church in Ceredigion. The Retreat is an excellent base to explore the many local attractions as well as providing a secluded oasis in which to hibernate. We are surrounded by farmland and beautiful views across the Teifi Valley, yet only 30 mins drive away from a selection of stunning beaches which cater for all needs from dolphin and seal spotting to rock pools and sand. There are many activities on offer too for all ages from walking, fishing and cycling to castles, farm experiences and theme parks!
  • Great little caravan! If you're after a little peace and quiet in rural wales then this is the perfect base! A tad chilly in the bedrooms at night as we did decide to brave it in march, but Helen and Steve provided a hot water bottle which was great! But the log burner in the living room soon warmed us up and was fantastic :)

    Charlotte2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely cabin set in a superb rural area, we enjoyed the peace and quiet and the cosy fire. Unfortunately the weather was not so great and we couldn't spend so much time outside and fully enjoy the space. Would definitely return during the summer.

    Oana2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place in a beautiful area. We had an amazing stay.

    Hayley2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • The retreat is a magical place. The view is amazing and one of the best sun rises I have seen. Helen was very friendly and welcoming and we had everything we needed. The bedroom does get quite cold in winter but the thick duvet and hot water bottles kept us warm enough at night, and with the fire lit in the sitting room it was very cosy.

    Gemma2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay in the countryside, Great place with great grounds to explore. Excellent as a base to explore the surrounding area. Helen was very friendly and welcoming. The 4 of us had a great weekend away!

    Thomas2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful and cozy place! Stunning views from the porch with a nice patch of grass for our 14 month old to roam around. About 30 minutes from beaches and we really enjoyed walking on the Ceredigion Coast Path.

    Matt2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • A real eco retreat from it all with stunning scenery, lovely hosts.

    Pauline2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • The views from the property are even nicer than I expected and it felt like we were away from it all without being too secluded. The hosts were really friendly and responded quickly when we requested more ice for the cool box etc. The double bed was comfortable and we all slept well. The gas oven was easy to use, as was the wood burner, and there were enough utensils, pots, pans to cook a variety of meals. We had takeaway from Romino’s (cash only) one evening however which was really tasty and good value (it’s just a few mins drive away near the Nisa and Londis). It was nice to have a private gated area around the property which enabled our dog and children to have a wander/play safely. We had a walk across the field to the hammocks and stream one evening and again the views are great. We also visited a dog friendly beach at Llangrannog SA44 6SN which was small but beautiful. We all felt well rested and relaxed after our visit and we would return.

A peaceful location, private garden, parking, BBQ, hot tub and fishing lake. Conveniently located for access to local amenities in Aberystwyth and Aberaeron, only 10 min drive to the coast. There are 2 nearby cottages that do not impact on the tranquility of the cottage.
The cottage is well equiped and bed linen is supplied. The hot tub is easy to use and we also supply sufficient logs for the first use of the log burner and hot tub. The hot tub will stay warm after that and will only require a small fire (about 1 to 2 sacks logs) for subsequent uses, logs are delivered at £4 a sack
A very tranquil location, full of wildlife

  • Such a cosy, quiet, peaceful place for a relaxing retreat. We spent a lovely couple of days exploring the coasts and forests by day, and snuggling up by the log fire in the evenings. Jackie and Dave were very attentive hosts, offering plenty of helpful tips and answering our questions quickly and efficiently. We spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Jackie in her pottery studio learning to throw, which was a fantastic bonus.

  • We will forever be grateful for this beautiful romantic long weekend in Ceredigion. Jenny and Kevin’s cabin is so cosy and lovely, full of thoughtful touches. The property is ideally located for the coast and we went in many long walks. We hope to be back!

  • A truly fabulous little get-away in a gorgeous part of the world. Beautifully designed with thoughtful touches everywhere making my stay beyond comfortable. Hosts were all too happy to help and give suggestions about the local area but the cabin also felt secluded and not at all overlooked. A real gem!

  • Nice space, which was cosy when it warmed up and really well thought out. Helpful notes on what to do locally 🙂

  • We had such a lovely time! We stayed for a couple of nights in the winter and although it was cold and wet outside the cabin was so cosy and warm. The place is very well put together and beautifully styled. Loved the cute touches such as the handmade soap bar and it's well stocked with other environmentally friendly products. There is a handy utility outhouse with washing machine and dryer and anything else you might need. The cabin feels very private and we loved the enclosed garden facing the sunset where we could let our dog wander around without any worries. It's very comfortable and perfect for any season not to mention it's the ideal location for a quiet beach holiday with such lovely beaches nearby. We're already thinking of coming back in a few months!

    Diana2020-02-09T00:00:00Z

Longbarn Cottage One is a barn conversion with exposed beams on our smallholding. In a quiet location in the Carmarthenshire countryside. It is one of two cottages converted from our former stables. The other cottage, Longbarn Dairy End, is also available on Airbnb, it sleeps four people in one double and one twin bedroom. Please note we charge one price all year, with no extra charges for cleaning or heating.
A great place for a relaxing break away from it all. We are about 40 minutes from the Breacon Beacons National Park. The nearest seaside places are the colourful harbour town Aberaeron, Newquay famed for its dolphins and Aberystwyth. The market town of Carmarthen is about one hour away. Lampeter, Llandelio and Llandovery are the nearest towns. Pumsaint village has a pub and a goldmine both open to visiters! Lots of nice walks and biking with in easy distance. Birdwatch from the balcony while enjoying the peace and quiet. Usual farmyard noises, sheep, tractors etc to be expected!
The cottage is surrounded by open countryside. The fields are usually home to sheep, and lambs in season. They wander onto and sometimes sleep on the track so you will need to be aware of them when using the track. If you like bird watching there are plenty to see from red kites to robins! Bring your binos. We also have lots of wildflowers, spring is the best hundreds of primroses and bluebells. Lots of daffodils too! Not wild flowers I know but from mid March onwards Wales is daff heaven! Star watching is recommended. On a clear night, turn off the lights and sit on the balcony to enjoy the night sky. Put the Night Sky ap on your phone or tablet to help you identify the stars and planets. We live across the farmyard from the cottage, our nearest neighbours are half a mile away down the track. Lots of guests have asked us where they can eat around here the nearest places are:- Dolaucothi Arms, Pumsaint SA19 8UW Brunant Arms, Caio SA19 8RD Tafarn Jem, SA48 8HF on the A482 towards Lampeter.

    Jo2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Gillian's place is a clean, warm and comfortable converted barn. It is across the yard from their home on their farm, up a rough farm track. There is a huge bathroom, comfy bed and everything you need to cook a meal from scratch. A beautiful quiet place, but you will need to use a car to get to the shops.

    Hannie2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend this sensational barn! It really does have the wow factor!!!! The character and elegance really does deserve a 10 star rating and the host was more than amazing with the special touches and overly accurate customer service as such!!!! Huge appreciation.

Large room in lovely stone cottage nestled in the hills of Llanwrda, 1 mile from Dolaucothi Gold Mines. Only 15 minute drive to Lampeter and 40 mins drive to the beautiful beaches of Cardigan. The room has two bunk beds, so can accommodate up to four people at one time with shared bathroom, shared kitchen and shared living room with TV. This is not a dorm, once booked extra people will not be added. Plenty of parking space.
There are stunning views to look at from the house, and an impressive viewing platform to do just that, on a clear day you will see the Black mountains and the Brecon Beacons in the distance. There are fields, woodlands, lakes, you are lightly to see sheep, cows, hares, herons, hunting birds patrolling the sky and you are lightly to hear owls at night.
The house is on a quiet lane, in the middle of the country away from noise and traffic with stunning views, there are walks by lakes, rivers, woodland, or hill top walks (bring some good boots), also there is fishing (Spring Water Lakes, and Cothi river near by). Lampeter is only a 15 minute drive, with places to eat, walks by the river Teifi, shops, super market, leisure centre, gardening centre and a university to visit.
  • We had a good time at Richard's place. It's location is fantastic, if you want to have some relaxing time in solitude and silence with a fantastic view on the valley, it is definitely a place to stay. Richard is a nice person, easy to talk to but giving you your privacy, and our only regret was that we couldn't spend more time in such a beautiful and peaceful environment.

    Gergely2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location, a magical garden with beautiful far reaching views. Richard is a quiet, friendly host who made us feel very welcome in his home, and was very generous sharing the use of his kitchen.

    Jess2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • A hidden gem! If you are looking for a holiday where the only traffic you will see is the sheep crossing the fields, then this is the place for you. The view is simply amazing. The garden is bigger than I expected. The room with two clean bunkbeds and two comfy armchairs plus a log brunner is enough for a family. We ate in the tranquilly garden at one of the picnic tables but there is also a dining area. The shower is perfect, no tube. Kitchen is basic (vegetarian) but you can use everything included fridge. Richard is a very patient and flexible host. Despite just a few kilometres from next village this cottage on a hilltop is in the middle of nowhere. We all loved his property.

    Kata2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Richard is an amazingly friendly and helpful host, the location of this house is spectacular and it was so calm and peaceful; just what I was looking for. A paradise for nature lovers!

    Sabine2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Amazingly remote spot where you hear not a noise apart from sheep bleating

    Stefan2019-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Richard is a great host . We felt like we are at home. The beds was very comfortable and clean. The view is just amazing. Thanks Richard,we had a lovely weekend.

  • Richard was very welcoming, he gave us good instructions to find his house, the views and tranquility of his home were wonderful and the room was clean and comfortable. Thanks so much for having us stay. We visiting the local Goldmines and some beautiful beaches in our two night stay. The children loved the trampoline and the animals.

    Julia2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • I found Richard to be a very pleasant and accommodating host, very helpful and easy to communicate with. The house is lovely and the bedroom and the kitchen are very spacious, the grounds/ gardens are beautiful and a great setting for any kind of retreat, a perfect place to stay for those who want to rest, take stock and re energise themselves, but also a wonderful place for exploring the local countryside. I enjoyed a few good walks during my stay. I hope to return next time I am visiting the area.

Nestled in a quiet spot in the Welsh hills, our luxurious shepherd's hut enjoys a field of it's own and exclusive use of the hut's hot tub. Underfloor heating will keep you cosy and after supper simply convert the dining area to a comfy double bed. The hut has an ensuite shower room perfect for freshening up after a day of adventure at the nearby coast. The garden is enclosed to provide security for dogs, but there's plenty of space to take them for a run.
Use our hut as a base to explore the many attractions West Wales has to offer, or simply get away from it all and enjoy the peace and tranquility of our little slice of paradise.
Our hut is located in a field of its own which enjoys the sunshine right up until sunset. Stretch your legs in our beautiful valley or head to one of the many other amazing sites to see in the area.
  • The Three Spaniel's is by far THE best place I have stayed. Everything about this place is outstanding. From the location to Miri and Dave, I honestly could not fault this place. The hut in itself is beautifully presented with some really nice personal touches. The location of where the hut is situated on their ground is perfect, peaceful and secluded. The area of Wales in which this hut is located is perfect for everyone! Whether you want to just stay at the hut and explore Miri and Dave's land or if you want to go into big towns, you are not far away or if like me you want to go to quieter places to explore and walk, you are only 30-40 minutes drive away from some really beautiful places. Miri and Dave are by far the best host's I have ever met, and one of the nicest couples I have ever had the privilege to meet. I unfortunately had an unexpected circumstance on my last night at The Three Spaniel's, with no phone and in the middle of nowhere! Miri and Dave were so thoughtful and kind towards me, which flowed from them naturally. No matter the beautiful hut and hot tub (all done electronically!!!) or the location. I endeavour to return to The Three Spaniels to see Miri and Dave again!! I have not stopped talking about this place since I have returned and long to go back! Miri and Dave; you truly have created a beautiful space.

  • We very much enjoyed our stay in the Shepherds Hut. It was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. It is in a very peaceful location with lovely views and it’s easy to get to various places nearby. The hot tub is a special bonus too! Miri was a great host and very helpful with recommendations. We are looking forward to returning again in the summer.

    Morgan2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay at The Three Spaniels. Hosts Miri and Dave were there to greet us and show us around and are very friendly. The hut was well equipped and the underfloor heating kept us warm and cosy. We had a fantastic New Year’s Eve in the hot tub watching the stars as we were fortunate enough to have a clear night sky! There were hand drawn maps in the folder in the hut which were very well drawn and accurate! Would definitely recommend.

    Sophie2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We have just returned from an excellent stay at The Three Spaniels. Our hosts Dave and Miri were extremely welcoming and always on hand for questions/ advice. We were kindly invited out for a Chinese and cinema trip by the hosts, a great finish to our stay. The Shepherds hut was spotless, with all the amenities we needed, the hot tub was a real treat. It was great to hear about all the exciting plans from the hosts and hopefully we will be back soon, Ozzy is already missing Murphy and Woody!

    Charlotte2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Miranda and Dave are amazing hosts. The hut is amazing we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hut is spotlessly clean and very cosy, and is comfortable/suitable in all weather. There are lots of exciting places to go around the local area, and beautiful walks. We watched shooting stars whilst in the hot tub. Overall our experience was unforgettable.

    Bethan2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing accommodation, beautiful surroundings, and perfect hosts. What a find The Three Spaniels was, the perfect family getaway. The hosts Dave and Miri made us all feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, offering us refreshments after our long drive before giving us a guided tour of the facilities and their 26 acres of land (which you are welcome to explore for yourselves anytime). Our puppy also enjoyed the guided tour given to him by Murphy and Woody (the resident Spaniels). The shepards hut is a great place to stay, spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard, it provided enough space for 2 adults a 9 year old and 13 month old Cocker Spaniel to live comfortably for 4 nights. The enclosed garden and brand new hot tub are a fantastic finishing touch. The folder provided by Miri in the hut gives ample information on the surrounding areas, from the best beaches, activities, and places to eat. Dave and Miri were always on hand to answer any questions we had and nothing was too much trouble for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will certainly be returning to The Three Spaniels in the near future. Thanks Dave and Miri, keep up the good work.

    Matt2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Miri and Dave's shepherd hut is a little slice of Welsh heaven. It's the perfect escape, both cosy and comforting as well as having that added bit of luxury with the hot tub. You are near enough lots of beautiful spots that it's worth venturing out for an explore but there was nothing better than coming back at the end of a day to a glass of wine in that hot tub! Just perfect. Thank you both!

COVID-19: Following the latest government advice, we are no longer taking bookings for the period of Friday 20 March to Thursday 30 April 2020. For any holiday after this date we are continuing to monitor the government advice. Y Stabl Cottage is located in scenic countryside, only a 25-min drive away from the beautiful West Wales coast and the Ceredigion Coastal Path, a 60 mile long trail. It provides a home from home and is perfect for nature lovers. The cottage has high-speed WiFi >20 Mbps.
This is a very relaxing place to stay and guests have described it as 'a little piece of heaven'. You can meet our farm animals, watch the red kites and buzzards soaring high above, or just sit and gaze into the log burning stove.
We are set on rolling farmland hills above the Teifi river valley. It is very peaceful here. We are only a 10-minute drive from the small university town of Lampeter with all amenities.
  • A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Daniela and John are warm and welcoming hosts. The property is definitely a home away from home. Tranquility from the rat-race. Lovely little touches and everything you could possibly need during your stay. The eggs from the resident chickens are yummy! James the pig and the dogs were a favourite of my children. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space :)

    Helen2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This warm and cosy cottage is a little haven tucked away on a lovely Welsh hillside. The cottage is spacious, well equipped and well furnished with some lovely tasteful touches. The bed and sofas are very comfortable and the log burner is a bonus for cosy evenings in by the fire. The wifi is great. Plenty of (quite steep) walks from the cottage, including the woods with James, the pig. Daniela and John are wonderful hosts and they live with their two very friendly dogs in the farmhouse next door. There are ducks and hens (thank you for the lovely eggs) and even some alpacas down the road at a neighbouring farm. It is beautifully quiet, the perfect rural, dog friendly retreat to escape from it all. This couple genuinely care about making guests feel welcome and it very much feels like a home from home.

A beautiful yurt nestled in a 2 acre field on our family farm, off the beaten track in the beautiful county of Carmarthenshire, West Wales. With 2000 acres of Llanllwni mountain to explore on your doorstep plus tonnes of local sights and activities. This Yurt is ideal for couples or individuals looking for a peaceful, comfortable and cosy getaway.
As a family, we at Blanca Trekking take great pleasure in enabling others to share what we are so privileged to enjoy on a daily basis. We would no way call this glamping but do take pride in providing a unique, simple yet comfortable accommodation to which our guests return time and time again. Our 'Cosy Cwtsh' Yurt sleeps 2. We had this little yurt hand made locally, with couples or individual adult guests in mind. With a comfortable king size mattress, carpet under foot and beautiful floor cushions, mats, blankets etc. Heated by a very efficient woodburner (logs provided). Lit by candles, lanterns and soft solar lighting; the night times listening to the fire roar whilst surrounded by beautiful, warm light is something special. The Yurt has its own separate kitchen equipped with everything you need, which includes a gas hob, a cool box, pots, pans, utensils etc. Water is brought up from the farm in containers. There is also space here to hang wet clothes, wellies etc. There is also a BBQ for you to use (charcoal not provided). Compost toilets are situated close enough for a midnight wander. On the farmyard, which is 2 fields away, you also have access to a shared kitchen and bathroom area. This kitchen is equipped with a sink, electric oven (and hobs), fridge, washing machine and plenty of utensils for you to use. There are also some plug sockets here for charging devices! The bathroom has (limited) hot water, with bathing facilities and a flushing toilet. (no shower)
Blanca Trekking is set in stunning countryside and yet lucky enough to be within easy reach of all areas of West Wales including beaches, castles, villages and market towns in which there are a variety of amenities and activities to explore and enjoy.
  • We saw stars through the yurt skylight. We were woken in the night by the loud T,woos of the male Tawney owls and the quieter female response T,wit in the trees nearby. The views were great. Location superb. There is gold in the ground and streams from the quartz veins all around. The kitchen utensils were so complete that we could have made as big a feast as the 2 burner gas stove and grill would have allowed. There is no WiFi or mains electricity that makes this a real get away luxury. You can choose bottled water or spring water. Incense in the yurt is included. There is a kitchen and bathroom with hot water and mains electricity in the hosts’ farm across two fields, if you need to find solace in the main stream. The horses are so well cared for that trekking would be a pleasure. The long lane and ford to the farm are very well maintained. There are nearby walks, pubs with food in all directions, Carmarthen with shopping centres and a Roman amphitheatre and the Welsh National Botanic gardens in less than 30 mins distance by car. We were there over Christmas which requires some winter camping skills, though our hosts, who stayed in the background, were always there for us and instantly met our needs when required. Dylan Thomas’s “A Visit to Grandpas” describes the bridge at Carmarthen and the estuary seaward from there.

    Ian2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay, very cosy. Stayed in October, the fire in the Yurt kept us warm. There isn’t a shower, however there is a bath in the farm house and that does have a shower head connected to the taps which was useful. The shed next to the yurt has your basic cooking stuff with a little portable camping style cooker which was a nice touch. There is a oven and fridge in the main farm house. If you’re staying in the winter, take some torches as it was very dark in the shed, but with the candles and fairy lights in the yurt was very nice and cosy. Would recommend a visit here. Ruth the host had the fire on for us when we arrived which was nice. Have fun when you book.

*New for 2019* Set in the Aeron Valley just outside the village of Dihewyd, Nantygwynfan is a family farm that has been lovingly converted into two lets for people to enjoy. Full of character and features, the cottage combines the old and new perfectly so you have a truly comfortable stay. There is plenty nearby to explore; from the many footpaths that can be accessed close by to Ceredigion's Heritage Coast and it's only 6 miles from the picturesque, Georgian town of Aberaeron.
The comfortable and homely accommodation offers one very spacious bedroom; a super king zip and link bed that can also be a twin room. We can also provide a travel cot if needed. Downstairs you shall find the Shower room: large shower, WC and sink. Living and dining space: TV and DVD player, fibre optic broadband Wi-Fi and an efficient log burner. The kitchen comes complete with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and a washer/dryer machine. From here you will access you private, lawn garden. At the far end is a Lay Z Spa for you to use. Please read the guidelines when using this and do bring additional towels if the bath and hand towel provided per person isn't enough. Bed linen, towels, electric, heating and Wi-Fi included plus a store of wood we believe will last your stay. A starter/welcome hamper provided upon arrival. A friendly dog with its well-behaved owner is very welcome to join you but do please be considerate and ensure you've cleared up after it so future guests have just as pleasant a stay. The cottage is next door to Nantygwynfan Farmhouse and is it possible to book both together as there is an interconnecting door - enquire for more information.
There are many footpaths in the immediate area and a short drive away. Ceredigion caters for many hobbies and interests; whether in land or by the coast. The beautiful landscapes and beaches are a major attraction, as are the pod of dolphins that live just down the coast by New Quay.
  • Had an absolutely brilliant time at Rachel’s place! The house was spotless and there were so many thoughtful touches which we really appreciated. The lay-z-spa is absolutely fantastic and the garden was totally dog proof which is brilliant for piece of mind! Already trying to find dates for a return visit!

    Lucy2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Rachel’s farmhouse cottage was absolutely wonderful. We were there for a week and didn’t want to leave... so many good things I don’t know where to start! Rachel left some thoughtful goodies for us, the house was super clean, quiet (last farm at the end of a lane surrounded by pastures and sheep), the spa was fantastic, hot shower too, huge comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, cosy log burner, child friendly (safety gates on stairs), combo washer dryer, etc. Could not have asked for anything better. We got to meet Rachel too and chat for awhile... she is so down to earth and lovely. She kindly showed us the other rental attached to ours since we’re interested in renting with friends sometime. She shared with us more of the history behind spaces and how they were before renovation. She clearly loves this childhood holiday home of hers and is working hard to preserve it for other families to enjoy. Would recommend without hesitation and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Rachel! :)

A brand new eco house with hot tub, perched quite dramatically in the trees, above a stream, just 2 miles from Newquay and half a mile from Cei Bach Beach. It offers a relaxing retreat from the bustle of Newquay yet is in walking distance (by beach when the tide is out, or by road) or a short car ride (approx 5 minutes) or bus journey away. The Wales Coastal Path is a short walk from the house. 2 bedrooms (double + twin) + sofa bed in lounge . 2 bathrooms. Free Wifi. Parking for 2 cars.
  • A lovely setting with birdsong and a babbling stream. Such a lovely house to return to after a day off exploring

    Gareth2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Currently en route home after a fantastic weekend. Loved everything about the house and location. Despite the weather we thoroughly enjoyed hours in the hot tub, walks into New Quay, Cai Beach and exploring Devils Bridge. A must visit if you stay with Michael. On our last evening unfortunately we had a temporary self inflicted power cut however Michael was quick to respond to our message all being very late in the evening. We would highly recommend staying! Christina & Alex

  • This is an incredible place to stay, both indoors and outdoors. It has been designed brilliantly. Despite being February, we always felt warm and cozy, even without the underfloor heating on. The showers were fabulous and had an abundance of hot water. Kitchen well equipped and well thought out. The hot tub was fantastic and we used it every night under the stars. The location is great too and only 5 minutes from New Quay and about 15 minute walk with two children to the coast.

    Rach2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • You must book this, it does not dissapoint. The whole house is beautiful, outside is a beautiful stream along with the hot tub. Perfect to relax after walking , great location not far too get to where you want to go. A place to re visit.

    Gemma2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time in Michaels house. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was a good space for afew days away. The outside space is the cherry on the cake, secluded & peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and I can imagine in the summer (we went January) you could spend all day on the terrace by the stream. Michael was super quick to respond to a query I sent and the house had lots of info on local things to do. We loved the eco friendly aspects of the house too and enjoyed looked through the book of how the property was built. If we ever return to the area we would re-book Michaels house without a doubt

Cae Castell is a family home in a peaceful country setting and also home to Oathill SportHorses. It is ideal for exploring Ceredigion with Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion Coastal path close by. Only 9.6 miles from the delightful harbour town of Aberaeron. New Quay is just 14.7 miles and to the east of New Quay is Cei Bach beach, 1/2 mile of unspoilt sand and free parking in Llania woods, just a short walk to the beach. Regular dolphin spotting trips run from New Quay several times a day.

  • Helen's place is a little gem. I booked this for my daughters birthday to switch off and enjoy some time together. The hut has everything you need, and the log burner makes it very cosy indeed. The welshcakes, fresh eggs and BBQ pack were great. The books and games kept us entertained for hours. The hot shower was a real treat. We hope to visit Helen and her family again, not forgetting all of the friendly animals too.

    Sabina2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Wow what a place. We’ve had such a restful stay. Due to a storm we arrived later than planned so Helen lit the fire and a candle, and put hot water bottles in the bed for us. Such lovely thoughtful touches. The cabin is super cosy, has everything you need, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The home made welsh cakes on arrival were lovely, and coupled with the amazing welcome we received made the stay awesome. I would definitely stay again. We went for dinner locally to the Angel and that was lovely. But just being able to switch off, and enjoy the tranquility was a wonderful but very rare treat. Thank you so much Helen.

Kirstie Allsopp's Best of Both worlds programme on Channel 4 featured this romantic getaway for two.
There is something about this thatched cottage that brings out the romance. We have hosted many honeymooners, couples that become engaged while here, and anniversary trips. It is simply lovely and cosy in an architecturally unique building near to the Welsh coast. Our situation provides guests with an excellent base to explore the many local attractions and the Coastal Path. By staying at Ffynnon Oer Isaf you will avoid the tourist crowds while being able to dip into the beach villages (or the water) as you please. Ffynnon Oer is ideally located. We are located on a good road so guests can easily hop in their car for a quick explore. Our guests enjoy the fact that Ffynnon Oer is a “hot spot” (compared to other holiday locations). We offer reliable internet with wi-fi so you can sit on the sofa and plan your next adventure. Most guests receive a decent mobile signal. No worries about having to roam around in a field or hilltop trying to get a signal! On top of all its practical advantages, the cottage itself will be one of the highlights of your trip. Ffynnon Oer Isaf is one of the best surviving examples of an eighteenth century clom cottages in Wales. It is Grade II listed in recognition of its “outstanding architectural interest. “ The cottage was built around 1750, and although there have been alterations, the interior arrangement and many details are original to that time. The “crogloffts” are traditional sleeping platforms that were once common in West Wales, as were wickerwork chimneys such as the one seen here. Apart from doing repair work, no one has built in clom in this area for well over a century. The walls are protected with a traditional limewash and the oak crucks and roof structure are all original and untouched since the eighteenth century. Our gardens are lovely any time of the year. Even in winter, there are over 20 different varieties of snowdrops. The front of the house is planted with a rose and herb garden. Please cut the roses and herbs for your enjoyment. We are dog friendly; however, our garden is not fully enclosed. Canine visitors adore the coastal path or exploring the countryside. Bath towels, bed linens, and bathroom welcome pack are included. The house is situated in a small hamlet of houses. We are near to the beaches of ceredigion, Aberaeron (15 minutes), Llangranog (30 minutes) Lampeter, the Llanerchaeron estate, Aberystwyth (35 minutes) and lovely dining at Ty Mawr Mansion which has been awarded five stars from VisitWales. Paragliding and walking is popular in the area. This property is co-located with another property that sleeps six. Both can be booked at the same time for a large party of eight. Please visit our blog for more photos, latest news and things to do in the area. Airbnb will not allow the posting of a URL. You can find our blog by searching for "Tales from Wales" and the words "spring water cottages" or add my name, "Melise."
Everyone loves the drama of the Welsh coast. The peaceful view of sheep across the meadow and our lovely gardens. View our blog for lots of ideas on what to do and where to eat: search for 'springwater cottages" plus my name, "Melise" to find the blog. Please note: the house name is Ffynnon Oer Isaf. There is a gate at the front that says Ffynnon Oer in the grille work.
  • Our stay at Melise’s place was perfect. Beautiful, quirky little cottage which made our weekend away really interesting. Great cleanliness and a bath in the lovely tub was just what we needed after a wet, windy day before curling up in front of the fire! Thanks for being great hosts - the local information.l was brilliant. Can imagine how beautiful it would be in the Summer with the garden in bloom
