  • Caban Bach is in a great location for both Saundersfoot and Tenby. The accommodation was clean cosy and comfortable it had everything you might need. The enclosed garden was great for my dog. I had a lovely relaxing break at Caban Bach, I would definitely recommend it and hope to go back again soon.

  • We would definitely recommend staying at 'Caban Bach' as its like a home from home. Set in a lovely quiet location but only a few minutes walk to the beach, local shops and restaurants. Debbie and Luke made us feel at home and were really helpful with suggestions on where to eat and visit. The town is a very dog friendly place and as we visited out of season our dogs loved going to the beach everyday. (the dogs also enjoyed exploring the enclosed garden too). Looking forward to returning in the future.

  • My partner and I stayed in this lovely cabin so close to the sea for a long weekend break. What a delight! A cute cabin, lovely touches inside, clean and organised, lovely garden for the dogs to play, very cosy and so close to the beach...we could not have wished for more. Fast comms from Debra and Luke at all times. A perfect stay in the most beautiful spot. If only we had one more day... thank you! 😊

    Joolz2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cabin is very cosy and comfortable with plenty of space for us and our dog. The garden is a nice bonus. We were lucky with the weather and walked to Tenby one day and Amroth on another taking the coastal path which is very nearby. In the evenings it’s just a short walk down to Saundersfoot with a good selection of quality bars and restaurants. We will be returning in the summer.

    Steve2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Perfect. Everything you need to feel like a home from home (if your home is stylish, cosy, well equipped with a lush garden and near a beach).

  • Wonderful stay at the treehouse. The log burner was wonderful and kept the whole place toasty. The underfloor heating was also a treat. We loved waking up surrounded by nature and watching the birds feed while having a morning cuppa. I will particularly miss the hot tub x

    Kerry2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our treehouse adventure. So cosy, little one loved her little bedroom/den and of course buck the deer! Stargazing in the hot tub listening to the owls hooting was magical. We even managed a row on the pond. Thank you Carol Anne and Martin for your hospitality-cheese board was a lovely welcome too.

  • Amazing stay at the treehouse everything we expected and more

    Jade2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place in an amazing location. Beautiful and private all at the same time. Everything we expected and more. The hosts had gone above and beyond and even added personal touches to make it even more special. We stayed there over the weekend of storm Dennis and even though at times you would feel the odd shake from the wind (only to be expected) I never felt unsafe! Even spent the night time sat in the hot tub with Dennis whirling around us which was an experience we’ll never forget! Cannot thank them enough we truly had that best valentine weekend we could of wished for and we will certainly be back again!

    Grace2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I am struggling to find the words to describe just quite how amazing our stay in the Treehouse was, we were there for 4 nights which covered storm Ciara visiting and sitting by the fire while the rain poured and the wind howled was perfect, we even sat in the hot tub in the most appalling weather but due to it being very sheltered it was a fantastic experience. The Treehouse itself has so many little touches, the stove is lovely (and was lit for our 4pm arrival), the under floor heating is really nice to stand on in the morning! The treehouse was never cold (which did worry me!), I loved all the blankets that were available (didn't need them but I do love a blanket!). We saw lots of wildlife - lots of different birds including a wood pecker, and squirrels came to visit. You are very secluded in this little area and nobody overlooks you. Carol Anne suggested a curry for the first night (I cannot remember the supplier) it was really delicious and she offered advice on where to eat etc. Locally Narberth is a lovely little town with many little cafes and independent shops, we also visited Tenby which has larger well known shops but retains its charm and has a selection of smaller independents also. Can also recommend Folly Farm (excellent if you have children, we didn't have any with us and still spent a fair amount of time there!), Manor Wildlife park (their animal experiences are fab, highly recommend you feed the red pandas!) and also Pembrokeshire Llamas (We walked Macsen and Myrrdin). We fully intend to come back next year xx

  • Perfect place to spend New Year’s Eve. The hot tub made all the difference and the treehouse is so cosy. Martin was really nice and gave us some tips to visit the surroundings. Would highly recommend!

  • What a lovely area of the world, completely out the way of normality, its in a great place not too far from a lovely little town called Narberth. The place itself is so quirky and lobely and the hosts helped with everything we required.

  • This is a lovely little annexe on the side of a house with its own door entry and little sun trap garden. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Sofa and bed were very comfy! There’s TV, a small kitchenette and a toilet/shower. There’s parking on the driveway for one car and Saundersfoot is a gentle 5 minute downhill walk. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Good location - close to the beach and near by restaurants and shops. Ideal for a couple. Clean accommodation and comfy bed. Great area for walks. Would recommend the boat house for food.

    Gary2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in both apartments (4 of us and 2 doggies) over the new year. We had a fantastic stay, felt cosy and right at home. The accommodation is great value and had everything you need. We spent most of the time in Cabin Bach as a group and the garden is grey for the dogs to have a run around. Really close to the town and the beach, which was great we took part and thoroughly enjoyed the New Year’s Day swim! Second stay at Debra and Luke’s place and won’t be the last time!

    Rosie2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodation was lovely, exactly as described. Has everything you need. Location is really good, Saundersfoot town is just a couple minutes walk away. Communication was good. Easy to find if you follow the directions. Having a Christmas tree up was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Saundersfoot.

Located within the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, we look forward to welcoming you to our 35 acre small-holding. A secluded and special place within easy walking or driving from some of Pembrokeshire's most beautiful beaches, towns and tourist attractions. Walkers, cyclists, runners welcome! We are now taking bookings for summer. Book for five days and we'll give a discount.
Guests will be accommodated in our comfortable and peaceful self catering barn annex, that has its own private entrance. The barn has a sleeping/ living room space, a small kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. In addition, you have access to a garden room and a patio area. We welcome either babes in arms, or children 8 years and over (2 kids maximum). This barn used to be the old dairy, until about 15 years ago, when it was converted to living accommodation. It is a light and airy space that oozes rustic calm and is tastefully decorated. Enjoy cosy evenings around the log-burner. TV and DVD players are present and there is internet access . We have recently had a small kitchenette installed that has a fridge, two hobs and a combination microwave/ oven with grill. The 'Crog Loft' or sleeping roost can accommodate two 'sensible' children. Access to the roost is via fixed wooden steps with handrail (from the main area of the barn), but parents must supervise ascent and descent of their children. Mattresses are provided for sleeping in the roost, not beds. We do not consider our barn suitable for toddlers or infant school children. Towels and bedding are provided, as well as tea and coffee. Heating via radiators (geothermally heated) is put on in the winter months and guests are welcome to use the log burner. The first 'trog' of logs is provided free of charge, but after that a trog of logs costs £5.00 per loads.
Our small-holding is located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, on the edge of the village of Llanteg and above the seas-side village of Amroth. It occupies a scenic position, enjoying unspoilt views across a valley to Marros mountain and Donkey Hill. We are a mile off the long sandy beach at Amroth, which is the start of the 180 mile long Pembrokeshire Coastal footpath. Walking even just a short part of the coastal footpath is the best way to appreciate the outstanding beauty of this dramatic coastline. Colby Woodland Gardens, a lovely National Trust property is located a couple of miles away by road. We are within 15-20 minutes drive of the pretty towns of Laugharne, Tenby, Saundersfoot and Narberth. Pembrokeshire has numerous places that families will enjoy visiting such as; Folly Farm, Manor Park Zoo, the Blue Lagoon water park, Oakwood theme park and Pembroke Castle.
  • A really lovely place to stay with a warm, happy feel to the rooms that are full of character, charm and all the amenities we needed, and more. A little review doesn't do it justice but we will always remember our visit with great affection. We loved having the farm animals and wildlife around us, especially Solo, the old Arab horse. Theri and Tom are very friendly, interesting hosts who had lots of good advice on where to visit - at Theri's suggestion we went home via Laugharne, where Dylan Thomas lived and set Under Milk Wood. All in all, definitely recommended!

    Joanne2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • My parents had a lovely time here. Lovely accommodation and Tom was very helpful.

    Aimee2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful little barn conversion with amazing, warm, generous hosts. Even throughout Storm Dennis we were able to relax and enjoy our surroundings. Can't recommend this place enough. We stayed with my 11 year old and she loved it too but for a romantic getaway or an adventurous holiday base for two it is also perfect. Thank you Tom and Theri!

    Graham2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and cozy place with a nice Arabic decorations, has everything you need. We haven't checked the local attractions so can't really comment on the location. The stone floor is a bit cold in winter but the slippers are provided :)

    Ewa2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely quiet place, not far from Amroth and beaches. Lovely hosts, very helpful and accommodating

    Christine2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place! It has everything you expect and more. Beautifully located and with warm hearted hosts. Very spacious and cozy place with gorgeous green winter garden. We loved sitting by the fire and having the opportunity to cook in the kitchen. Don’t forget to ask for some advice and local guidance, you will get excellent tips! We wish everyone a wonderful stay with Theri and Tom.

    Adomas2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • A very pretty, bijou, well designed cottage created with love by Theri & Tom. It is ideally located in a picturesque setting and is very close to some of the most beautiful beaches and churches in the Pembrokeshire area. It was so magical to have the opportunity to star gaze through the roof windows and the sky was array with stars shining and winking at us and full of mystery during our short but sweet stay. We enjoyed admiring the pictures and artifacts gathered by them from over the world & learning about their stories and significance from the family. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy & comfortable with tasteful decoration & furnishings. We enjoyed the musical sounds & colourful sights of the natural surroundings and enjoyed listening to Theri & Tom's stories of the environmentally friendly projects they are involved with and about their travels around the world. We also enjoyed our musical session with them on Christmas day and for welcoming us into their home for the evening. We wish them and their lovely family a very happy life together and would love to hear how things are going with their future plans & projects. God bless you all, Aly & Rob xx

    Robert2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • The barn is a really lovely space - we were greeted with Welsh cakes, T&T were v flexible about our late arrival. The kitchen has everything you could need to make all your meals and, like the rest of the place, was totally spotless. We warmed things up with a space heater and wood fired heating initially, but the barn also has full central heating throughout meaning proper radiators offsetting the wintery temperatures outside and a powerful hot shower in the toasty bathroom. We were using the barn for a writing and watercolour painting retreat and reset and it was absolutely ideal, totally peaceful, very interesting decor and artefacts on display which were great inspiration, super fast wi-fi, tv and a lovely mezzanine to lounge around on futon cushions and bask in the winter sun coming in through the skylight. When we did leave the barn, Tenby was an easy drive away for beach walks and charm and there is so much else to see locally, including Wales' oldest Neolithic Dolmen dotted about the landscape! Theri and Tom, and the always excited Guinea Fowl family checked in to help us out with local recommendations, firewood and other lovely touches but also let us get on with our work. Would highly recommend . and really amazingly good value for money too. Thanks again T&T <3

  • Great place to stay

    Leelee2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful space and an ideal base to explore Pembrokeshire. The addition of a hot tub is very welcome, especially in autumn after a long walk during the day. Perfect to ease weary muscles. Inside, the Dairy is an excellent and modern conversion with a well equipped kitchen and lounge area. There’s great WiFi so it’s perfect in order to research and explore where you might want to visit locally. There are plenty of towns nearby to pick up provisions and overall I’d say this is the sort of place you’d want to spend time in; cooking and socialising after a day of exploring/walking.

This is a nice quiet setting with character - mezzanine floor, top quality fittings and simply a great centre to explore this beautiful part of south-west Wales. Ideal for two people - maybe two with a VERY little one if you bring your earplugs (no separate bedroom)! We do accept well behaved dogs, but PLEASE NOTE: 1) A £10 Dog Fee is charged, this can be paid on arrival 2) Dogs not to be allowed on sofa or bed, nor left alone in the let 3) The shower is NOT to be used to shower your dog! (Yes, really!)
We are situated on the edge of the beautiful village of Saundersfoot, just over a mile's walk from the harbour - or a 100m walk away from the bus stop which provides a regular service to Saundersfoot, Tenby (3 miles), Narberth (7 miles) and Haverfordwest (17 miles). The coastal path can be walked from Saundersfoot to either Amroth or Tenby (...and beyond if you're keen!) and provides fabulous views of the incredible coastline of the area. A day in the lovely and unique town of Tenby is never wasted! We are ideally located for a walking, cycling, or lazy beach orientated holiday, or to discover the fantastic coastline around this beautiful part of Pembrokeshire....and ALSO the lovely Preseli Mountains, just a stone's throw away. Go on - start packing!!
  • Lovely clean self contained apartment with cosy sitting room, all well equipped and with nice 'seaside' touches. Very handy for Saundersfoot and Tenby which were both lovely with some beautiful coastal walks. Will definitely visit again.

  • Perfect place to enjoy Saundersfoot! A home from home , super clean and well equipped! Even better that our spaniel was able to join us!

    Tessa2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful and cozy place to stay. It is lovingly furnished, clean and cozy. The check-in with code lock worked perfectly, so it was no problem that we could only check in at 3:00 am due to traffic jams. A little attention with tea and pastries was ready for us. The property was in good condition and as stated on the description. The hosts were very friendly and at the same time our privacy was accepted. Absolutely recommendable!

  • A great place to stay.

  • Great place to switch off and get a rest! Very close to nature if you have a car.

    Paul2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, clean space, perfect for us and the dogs. Only a short walk to the town which was equally dog friendly - can highly recommend The Snug, lovely pint of Guinness and a free pool table. Drew is an excellent host, and the little touches like leaving tea bags, biscuits and milk in the fridge when we arrived made for a great weekend break.

  • The Garden Flat provides excellent accommodation within walking distance of Saundersfoot. It’s clean, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and there’s nothing we’d change about the place. We had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly book again when we next visit west Wales.

  • We could not fault this accommodation or our host, the cottage was wonderfully clean and stylish with welcome touches like tea and coffee already there, there was everything there that we could possibly need and it is in a great location just couple of minutes from the beach and the lovely little town of Saundersfoot, which has plenty of great places to eat and lovely shops. Margaret was lovely and extremely helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again.

Spacious, comfortable basement flat below our house, you will share our garden and decking and have direct access to a beautiful beach.
This is the basement of an old stone built house. It has exposed/painted stone walls in the large living room and a very convenient but convincing coal effect gas stove surrounded by very comfortable seating ideal for viewing the TV. There is a double bed in the living room and the bedroom is where you will find the staggered bunk beds. There is a patio directly outside the flat's kitchen which leads up a couple of steps to the garden and then to the spacious raised decking overlooking beautiful Saundersfoot beach. Open the gate at the end of the garden and down a few steps right onto the beach. The garden and decking are shared with us.
Saundersfoot village is a lively bustling place in the high season but more tranquil outside of the main Holiday weeks. It has a pretty harbour and a lovely sandy beach to enjoy safe bathing from. The village Itself is very flat for walking and has lots of small independent shops and eateries, and a choice of pubs to enjoy a real ale or two. It is an ideal stopover on the Welsh National/Pembrokeshire Coast Path and just a fantastic place to stay and ideal for exploring the wonderful county of Pembrokeshire
  • Lovely and cosy space and access straight onto the beach - lovely host and nice touches here and there.

    Geoff2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • We love Saundersfoot and it was great to stay in such a cosy home right next to the beach. We all had a really lovely and relaxing stay. We couldn’t ask for more, lovely comfy accommodation which suited us down to the ground and right on the beach which we, and our dog, love so much! Really spacious home from home and perfect for our family. Thanks so much!

    Kate2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • We very much enjoyed our stay in Saundersfoot. The beach is beautiful and the local amenities great. We walked from Saundersfoot to Amroth which was lovely across the rock pools and sand. Either direction you walk you can expect to find stunning views. The boys loved the fireworks and even took a dip in the sea!! Our little home from home is perfect and cosy and ticks all the boxes. We can’t wait to go back next year!

    Amy2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • A huge thank you to Tish and George for giving us an amazing vacation at their “little gem”. Such a beautiful location, on the beach at Saundersfoot, literally open the gate and step onto the sand! The apartment was also fantastic inside, extremely cosy and homely. Tish met us on arrival and showed us around the rooms and made us all feel super welcomed. Beautifully relaxing couple of days on the beach, walking, eating and watching the amazing Saundersfoot sunsets. Will definitely be visiting again.

    Mark2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Tish's place is just as described. Very clean and lots of extra little touches such as milk, sauce and cooking oil in the fridge. Fantastic location with direct access to the beach. We travelled as a couple and enjoyed a peaceful glass of wine on the decking but would be great if you're travelling with children as you could watch them on the beach from there. There can be a little bit of noise from the pub next door but one, however, this didn't go on late. Would highly recommend.

    Rachel2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment in a great location. Sparkling clean and fresh. Beach was amazing.

    Alison2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • You won’t find a closer place to stay to the beach than this. It’s beautifully presented, has lots of helpful little touches that mean you don’t have to pack the world in your case. Can’t recommend highly enough!

    Tracey2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Emily and Paul, has great communication, almost instantly replying to my messages and were very helpful organising check in. There were lovely touches to the room, like the inclusion of very tasty welsh cakes and multiple choices for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable also. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

    Phabian2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic value. We booked Emily and Paul's studio as somewhere to lay our heads between two days of hiking with the dog. The space was clever, clean and felt completely private with its own entrance so we could come and go as we pleased which was handy with the dog! The guys had even left us some food for breakfast which was above and beyond, and much appreciated. The village itself is completely residential which Emily and Paul mention in the advert and suited us fine, but something to bear in mind if staying longer. The location was fantastic to drive out and sightsee the next day. Communication with Emily and Paul was easy and quick, and they were very welcoming about our dog. Thanks for a wonderful stay guys!

    Hannah2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find. Great hosts. Lovely breakfast hamper in room on arrival. Bed very comfortable. Emily and Paul are great hosts and went out of their way to give us a much needed break.

    Lynn2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great self contained space in a quiet cul-de-sac. No TV but some board games in the cupboard. The kitchenette proved very useful to warm up some homemade pies from the butcher in Narberth. Great breakfast hamper with fresh milk and juice in the fridge. Bathroom a bit chilly if you don't put on the light/heater when getting up in the night. Overall a great stay.

Noun: Cwtch [Welsh] to cuddle or hug Nestled between Narberth and Amroth, The Cwtch is the perfect couples’ getaway. Located in the small hamlet of Llanteg only 3 miles from the vast golden beach of Amroth and the start of the 186-mile world renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path, The Cwtch is the ideal base for those wanting to explore or simply cwtch up, relax and unwind.
The Cwtch is a private self-contained annex which has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The newly fitted kitchen with dining area, has everything you need; perfect if you decide to eat at home. The living/bedroom area has comfy sofa perfect to relax on after a long day exploring. The large set of patio doors in a living/bedroom lets in lots of light making it very airy and lead you outside to a gorgeous covered log fired Scandinavian hot tub in a secluded area. Perfect for winding down no matter what the weather; just remember to add a log or two! In the small rear garden there is an enclosed private barbecue area for those warm summer evenings. To the front you have a garden with a driveway for two cars. The Cwtch harnesses the power of the nature to generate its electricity and hot water from the PV units on the roof of the annex and our hot tub is warmed using a log burner. We are dog friendly and have made the Cwtch dog safe, so you can relax as they are unable to get out of the garden and patio area. We allow one dog as part of the nightly rate, though depending on the size we are willing to allow a second at a charge. Please keep dogs off the soft furnishings.
The Cwtch is located in the quiet village of Llanteg, which has a local pub serving food (10-minute walk). Amroth, and the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, is only 5-minute drive from The Cwtch and with easy access to the main A477, you can be in Saundersfoot, Tenby and Narberth in 15 minutes. St Davids is only 33 miles away! The main ferry port at Pembroke Dock can be reached in 20 minutes. Hosted by Martin & Anne-Maria. We are a family of four. Anne-Marie and I have been married for 15 years, have two teenage children plus our two trusty hounds Fin and Rocky. As a family we love the outdoors. I’m a local boy; born & bred in the area so please feel free to pick my brains for the best places to eat, must-see sights, things to do and general insider gossip.
  • The cwtch was a perfect place to have a couple of days break, it is so cosy and with the log fired hotub and all the amenities you could need there was no reason to leave. The hosts were great and gave you any information you needed about the area and recommendations, they introduced themselves but also gave the space to want on a break away. Everything was lovely about the cwtch even down to the little personal touches.

    Caitlin2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cwtch was a lovely little home from home. Our stay was cosy and comfortable and we had everything that we needed. The hot tub was a great added luxury and we loved the log burner and Scandinavian feel to it. We would definitely recommend staying with Martin, he was a fantastic host with great recommendations!

    Katrina2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the Cwtch for my wife’s birthday weekend and it was everything you could ask for when looking for a relaxing break. Great hosts who we’re always on hand if you needed anything. The Cwtch is excellently located for all that West Wales has to offer. And to get back after visiting the lovely beaches the hot tub gives you the perfect way to relax. I would definitely recommend staying there.

    Mark2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a lovely place. So clean and was so pleased that it was dog friendly! The Cwtch was in such a great location, close to the beach and a fun water park! The little touches when we arrived made it all lovely! We got engaged on Valentine’s Day at a lovely restaurant 15 minutes away. We had a lovely welcome from the hosts and had a lovely time. Just make sure your fire skills are up to scratch for the hot tub! Thank you to Martin & Anne for a gorgeous time away!

    Jess2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Catch is sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and the hot tub is great. Martin and Anne were exceptional hosts and all the extra touches were a real treat. We cant wait to return.

  • Lovely & clean, thanks Diane

    Nelly2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here with my husband and 2 dogs for a week over NYE. We had a great stay. Narberth Town is a short walk away and has plenty of shops, 3 pubs and lots of places to eat. None of the pubs were serving food while we were there so can't comment on that but the Indian takeaway was amazing! There is a shortcut to town from the top of the holiday park its very muddy at this time of year so wear wellies/hiking boots but it's a much better route if you have dogs as you don't need to walk on the road. The lodge was lovely and cosy and has a nice decked area that has a gate so is secure for dogs. It was a great base to explore the area, we drove to Tenby, barafundle Bay and some other lovely beaches/coastal walks, all about a 30 min drive. Diane was a great host, very quick to respond to any questions I had. We highly recommend this place!

  • Comfortable stay with all the facilities we needed. Quiet and sheltered hillside/woodland location, but close to the centre of Narberth

  • A perfect home from home! Very spacious woodland lodge, in a he beautiful town of Narberth with an array of niche individual shops, places to eat, local greengrocers & supermarket. Handy too for visiting Saundersfoot & Tenby. The lodge has everything you could want, the big range cooker is fabulous & the added benefit of a washing machine if needed. On arrival the lodge was cosy & warm. There’s more than enough extra bedding, towels etc Lots of room in the fridge & adjoining separate freezer. Our Patterdale Oreo enjoyed time out on the gated deck & we knew she couldn’t escape. 10/10 for a fabulous Winter weekend getaway!!! Worth our 5 hr drive from Ormskirk, West Lancashire. Debs, Rob, Evin & Oreo.

We are under half a mile up a gradual hill - just coming out of Kilgetty village where there is a large supermarket, pharmacy/ gift shop, post office/general store, bike shop, hairdresser, pub, Indian restaurant, Chinese takeaway, Fish n Chip shop/cafe, bakery and petrol station. So we are in a quiet, elevated position with lovely views just 2 miles from the nearest beaches - through beautiful forests to Wiseman's bridge and Coppet Hall. Saundersfoot - a pretty harbour village with lovely beach , nice shops, cafes etc is 2.4 miles away, Tenby a beautiful medieval walled town is 5 miles away. The coastal path is around 2 miles away

  • Annie and Julian's Airbnb offer is exactly as described - so lovely not to have any unpleasant surprises! Was really thoughtful that they have put fairy lights in the hedge and were able to turn them on to guide me to their home - a haven amidst the darkness and rain! I had the single room which was more than adequate at a great budget price and had a lovely view too! House was well heated and bathroom cosy too. Would highly recommend.

  • Great place to stay, quiet and serene. Ideal for exploring west wales. We loved seeing the ocean as we woke up in the morning from the living room and also relaxing indoors in the evening looking out with a glass of wine. We will look to return when the warmer weather comes!

The décor is very light with white paint and some feature wall paper in the bedroom. The cottage is surrounded by gardens which are walled on three sides giving great privacy. Kitchen is well appointed and the bathroom contains a shower and bath.
The cottage is situated at the far end of our property and is surrounded by mature trees. It is well away from the road so very tranquil. There is plenty of parking available at the property.
Our nearest town is Narberth which has the best shopping in the county being full of individual boutique shops. It also has two mini supermarkets which are open from 8am to 10pm daily.
  • The cottage was beautiful, a great place to relax and explore Pembrokeshire from. We would love to come back again! Thanks Josephine. Amy & Charlton.

  • Cottage has everything you could wish for. Very comfortable and clean. Location is a fabulous for central point for many attractions and beaches. Local town Narberth is a lovely shopping town with a Castle ruin and many good eateries (especially Ultracomida) and only 2 miles away. Hosts are wonderful and very knowledgeable of the local area and the swimming pool was amazing, highly recommend this property.

    Arthur2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage is beautiful! Perfect for a couple looking to get away to the country for a few days. Josephine was extremely helpful in providing restaurant recommendations and even left some Welsh cakes for us at the cottage. The pool is a lot bigger than the pictures and a lovely temperature even for February! This place is private and surrounded by a beautiful garden, the cottage was spotless and only a 5 minute drive from Narberth/20 minutes from Tenby. You won’t get signal at the cottage which is perfect if you want a break from the internet however a tv and sky is provided if you really need something to watch (although you won’t need it in this location). This place is 100% worth staying at and we will most definitely be back again soon!

  • A perfect cosey retreat of a cottage with everything you need for a holiday. Surprisingly well equipped local town and with the south coast of Pembrokeshire just down the road.

A stylish two floor private apartment with two bedrooms. It has its own entrance and covered parking space. There is free WIFI, a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. We live next door so can advise you on the best places to visit. It is a five minute walk to Saundersfoot Harbour, shops, cafes and restaurants. Glen Beach with its rock pools is just 300 metres away along a quiet footpath. The Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath is nearby. Family attractions such as Folly Farm, Manor Wildlife Park and the Blue Lagoon Water Park are a short drive away.
The apartment is modern, clean and well cared for. Jim has some photography displayed on the walls and Jean has made some lovely quilted bedspreads.
I love walking down to harbour to watch the fishing boats and the sailing races the stopping for a coffee in one of the cafes to watch folk go by. It's great to be able to walk along a quiet track to Glen Beach and walk along the sand. Then in the evening I love to be able to choose a take away meal to eat at home or a restaurant dinner. Often we visit other lovely places mostly on the Pembrokeshire coast such as the famous Barafundle Beach. We enjoy taking our grandchild to Folly Farm, to Manor Wildlife Park or to Tenby.
  • This is beautiful accommodation in a perfect spot for exploring Saundersfoot and Tenby. We stayed over Ironman weekend and the location was ideal. Would definitely stay here again!

  • This was our first AirBnB adventure and it far exceeded our expectations. Our super host Jean could not have been more accommodating and the sparkly clean property was perfectly situated to enable us to enjoy visiting the local area. The extra touches Jean offered, like stair gates to keep our little girl safe, were very much appreciated and meant we could fully relax and enjoy our time away. From the point of booking right up to our arrival the communication was excellent and the ‘local tips’ in the property were incredibly useful. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay here again if we were to return. Thank you.

    Kate2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jeans place is lovely, very clean, underground parking, comfortable, plenty of space, brilliant WiFi, only 7 mins away from the beach. We had a lovely time and I would certainly recommend.

    Joanne2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jean’s accommodation is superbly comfortable, extremely clean and very well equipped to make any stay pleasurable. There are plenty of tips about things to do and see in the area. Saundersfoot has lots to offer: beautiful beaches and places to eat and drink.

    Anna2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastically clean appartment, located close to the centre. The hill on the way home looks daunting, but is really not that bad! Jim and Jean were great at making recommendations for our wet weather day, and we loved Glen Beach. Thank you for a lovely week!

This guest room is located on a peaceful, rural holiday site. There are three guest rooms (2 doubles/1 single) altogether located in a separate building close to the site owner's residence. The room has a television, radio, tea/coffee making facility, en suite shower/toilet and is centrally heated. Guests are free to enjoy the site gardens/field/tennis court. Secure parking. The rate charged does not include breakfast. There is a cafe in the village which is open daily for breakfast and lunch.
The guest room is located on a 10-acre holiday site with mainly self-catering lodges. This is a peaceful, rural, family-friendly place. Your room is not inside anyone's home - it is in an entirely separate building and accessible up a flight of outside stairs and along a corridor with a couple of other guest rooms adjacent. Guests are able to go in and out at any time. This is a single room but there is space for a cot or fold-out bed for an infant or child (we can provide this). The room has an en suite shower and toilet cubicle. Ask at Reception for hair drier, iron/ironing board or a service clothes wash.
Our site is close to the coast - Amroth beach and village is just down the hill (about 1 -1/2 miles away). This takes about 7 minutes to drive there or about 20-25 minutes to walk. Amroth has a beautiful mile-long sandy beach with cliffs each end and rock pools. Along the sea front there are several pubs and restaurants, gift and provisions shops and ice-cream parlours. Also close to our site is Colby Woodland Gardens, a National Trust property which is well worth a visit and there is a nice cafe there and a right-of-way down to Amroth. Further along the Pembrokeshire coast is Saundersfoot which has a beach and harbour and many pubs, restaurants and shops. The famous tourist town of Tenby is about 20 minutes drive (8 miles) from us. Inside the ancient town walls is a labyrinth of cobbled streets with shops and restaurants. Tenby also has two spectacular beaches and its harbour has boats that can take you to Caldey Island and around the Pembrokeshire coastal area to view basking seals and other wildlife. The rest of Pembrokeshire has many wonderful visitor attractions to appeal to all ages and inclinations - theme parks, zoos, castles, gardens, shopping centres, leisure centres, golf courses, horse riding stables, scuba diving centres, etc. The Pembrokeshire Coastal National park has a 186-mile path leading all around it and is much enjoyed by walkers. The views from the cliff-tops are breathtaking. Crossing the border into Carmarthenshire you can visit Laugharne where there is a castle and the Dylan Thomas Boathouse which is open to the public all year round. The town of Carmarthen has a large shopping centre and multi-screen cinema and is just 20 minutes drive from our site.
  • nice place with a friendly pub practically on site in a good quality holiday park with nice bungalows had private room with a nice shared kitchen about half hour from Tenby. lovely people..

A semi detached cottage which sleeps six in three bedrooms with one of these bedrooms on the ground floor. A fully equipped holiday cottage with central heating and two bathrooms. We are half a mile away from the famous Pendine beach. Laugharne where the famous poet Dylan Thomas was born is four miles away. Tenby is approxiametely ten miles away. We are dog friendly to two well behaved dogs . A maximum parking of two cars is available directly in front of the cottage.
A semi detached cottage set on a hill above the hugely popular seaside resort of Pendine with its iconic sands. Set over two floors, there are three comfortable bedrooms, one ground floor double with a family shower room and a first floor double with en suite bathroom and twin room. There is a well equipped kitchen with a dining area and comfortable seating in the lounge area. The cottage is in a small residential area just a 10/15 downhill walk to the beach.
We love living here because we live on the outskirts of the village where we have fields surrounding front and back. It is a very peaceful country setting but we are only 10/15 minute walk away from the beautiful beach of Pendine.
  • We only stayed the one night but we were still greeted with a lovely welcome. The weathwer was miserable but the apartment was warm and welcoming. Extremely clean & excellent value for money. We would surely stay again.

  • My husband, elderly father and I stayed at the cottage for a night en route to Oxford, from Anglesey. Nicola met us on arrival, with a warm welcome. She also saw us off on the morning we left, on our way to our next destination. We found the cottage beautifully equipped and furnished, spacious with a very well stocked kitchen and 2 lovely, modern bathrooms, one upstairs and the main one on ground floor level. We found the cottage was very comfortable and warm, especially for my dad who is 92. There were nice touches, such as tea, coffee, biscuits and a small bottle of milk left for us. There were also board games, books and magazines for guests. The cottage is only about 5 minutes from the beach and convenient for shops and cafes. Plenty of walking opportunities in the area.

My place is close to public transport, Narberth High Street, the sea and mountains. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
  • Marion's home is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Narberth, which is a great little town. The cottage is old but modernised, with a very comfy bed with electric blanket, and amazing shower. Marion made me feel welcome and that I was able to come and go as I needed to. Breakfast is on offer, and I used her kitchen to heat food for my evening meals. There is parking close by, and I briefly pulled up outside while loading my car to leave.

  • Modern, spotless studio in an ideal location to visit all areas of South Wales. My husband and I stayed in Kim’s studio for three nights and it was a perfect place for us. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed for our stay. A lovely, quiet, private location which was perfect for us to explore the area. Kim was a great host. She was there to meet us when we arrived and she had provided milk, bread, tea, coffee, butter, and jam! So thoughtful to provide basic provisions, especially if arriving late or after a long journey. If you are a couple and happy with a studio, this one close to Tenby and other places on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and of course the coast path, is perfect. We certainly recommend Kim’s place.

  • A lovely stay at Dave and Angela's cosy chalet. It had everything we needed and was a great location for exploring southern Pembrokeshire. Thank you both for a lovely weekend! P.S we echo everyone's comments about the bed - super comfy!

    Amanda2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in the chalet was absolutely perfect, Angela was so friendly and welcoming and told us everything we needed to know upon arrival. Photos do not do this place justice the chalet is beautiful and much bigger than expected and the views are just lovely. Thank you so much for letting us stay with you, we hope to come back in the future, Chloe and Dilon.

  • We really loved our stay. The apartment was clean, well equipped and we were welcomed with cookies and fresh milk and some flowers on the table. The bed was comfortable, as well as the shower and the kitching can easily be used to make a meal for 2 or more.

    Bart2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful, bright studio that is surprisingly large. It was spotless and had the lovely added touch of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, chocolate digestives and fresh carnations on the table. Also salt and pepper. The kitchen has everything you need to cater for your trip. The animals are all friendly and the owners couldn’t do enough to help. The bed is beyond comfy, to the point that I want to buy the same mattress for home. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

    Gillian2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great accommodation. We can't recommend more highly. Everything you need is there. Dave & Angela were great hosts.

    Maureen2019-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • Really good place to spend a few days. The house is really nice and Dave and Angela take care of every detail. I would strongly recommend this place.

    Gonzalo2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Angela and Dave were absolutely wonderful hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay very special. There was excellent communication beforehand and they recommended some great activities for us to do, including local surf schools, bike hire and walks. Their home was just beautiful and the chalet was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even provided things like washing up liquid and shampoo which made our stay that much easier! The view outside was stunning and the animal family that accompanied was a real treat, we will definitely miss Saffy and the cats the most!! Perfect hosts and a stunning location, we will definitely be returning!

    Rosa2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • A really lovely place to stay. It is quiet and peaceful and a great base to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. The chalet is spacious and very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the comfortable bed and place to sit outside and enjoy the evening sun. Dave & Angela are friendly and helpful hosts. We highly recommend staying here, it is a rare find.

  • Penny is a great host, and made us very welcome. The accomodation is spotlessly clean, and we appreciated not only the Welsh Cakes on arrival, but also the other biscuits, tea and coffee etc. It is great to be able to use the sitting room next to the bedroom and the table there, to sit and eat food. It is a very convenient location to get to all the local beaches and attractions.

    Christopher2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Penny's place was a great stop for our road trip through Wales. She welcomed us kindly, gave us good recommendations for things to do around in the area and even left biscuits and tea in the room for us. And the room was comfy too! Thank you again, it was a good stay!

Modern barn conversion in grounds of owners home. Nestled in the Pembrokeshire countryside. Close to beaches of Amroth, Tenby, Barafundle, towns of Narberth and Tenby, attractions of Bluestone, Oakwood, Folly Farm with 186 miles of Pembrokeshire National Park and Preseli Mountains nearby. Private garden. Outside dinning area, separate fire pit. Stream by side of house. Very quiet and private.
The kitchen is an open modern space with a breakfast bar overlooking the stream. There’s a wood burner to light and sit around or a fire pit if you prefer being outside. Red kites nest close by and regularly fly over the garden. Set within a small holding there may even be eggs available during your stay. Lovely network of bridle ways and paths available of the lane.
There’s a garage half a mile away at the top of the lane selling petrol, groceries and wood. The nearest town is Narberth (4 miles away) with a lovely Spanish deli, cafes and interesting shops. The nearest large supermarkets are 20 minutes away in either Carmarthen or Haverfordwest. We’re 20 minutes away from lots of Pembrokeshire’s beautiful beaches and the National Park’s Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
  • What a stunning place! Really stylish and luxurious. One of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed at. You have poured love and thought into this place. Everything is designed for comfort and pleasure. We're leaving well-rested and inspired!

  • A wonderful rural retreat full of stylish touches, comfy beds, and many thoughtful touches. It’s a fantastic space and we had an amazing stay. Thanks for having us!

    Rachel2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nuala’s converted barn is outstanding. A stand-alone building adjacent to the main house, the barn is a comfortable, stylish and beautiful space to rent. The blend of classic farmhouse and mod-cons is excellent; bare stone walls and rugged wooden stairs contrast perfectly with well placed lighting, stylish retro furniture, WiFi and Bose Bluetooth speakers in several rooms. The building also features an abundance of windows and skylights, which not only maximises the natural light on offer, but lets in the wooded wilderness surrounding you. This means that even a day spent indoors feels like a great escape. The bedrooms are both en-suite; however self conscious couples should be aware that the bedrooms and bathrooms have a semi-open plan layout, meaning no actual doors between the sleeping area and the bathrooms (just a dividing wall that stretches two thirds of the room). There is, however, a separate, downstairs toilet (which has the coolest tap and basin I’ve ever seen!). The dining room boasts a log fire and comfy chairs, as well as a cupboard full of board games and books. The comfy TV room next door has a set of vast windows that can open up if the weather is favourable. The kitchen is well kitted out, including an induction hob, dishwasher and boiling hot tap; all in all, the whole place is homely and well thought out. If you’re visiting in the summer then you can head outside and make the most of the beautiful setting. A barbecue and outdoor furniture are ready and waiting; as well as a fire pit for when it starts to get chilly. Situated next to the calming sounds of a flowing stream, it would make for a great place to soak up some rare Welsh sun. The drive in from the main road is a mini adventure in itself. You turn down a little track and traverse one or two other properties, including some disused farm buildings. The road in is unmade in places, so probably best not to arrive in your Ferrari. Taking it slow and steady in any regular car should be fine, so don’t be put off; because once you slip under the final canopy of trees and through the front gates, your first sight of the barn will make the slow amble worth it! Do bear in mind it isn’t the kind of location a taxi would love to get in and out of. So if you’re heading into the local town of Narberth (and you really should!) you will need to drive. The town is about four miles away along A and B roads; and Nuala’s ‘driveway’ is probably a good half mile uphill. So a car is essential! Nuala’s place has all you need - whether it’s just a base to explore stunning Pembrokeshire, or if you want to chill in the countryside with cosy nights in. We loved our time there and would highly recommend a visit. It’s a short drive to some great places like Narberth, Tenby, Haverfordwest and more. There’s loads to do nearby too, from surfing and kayaking, to zoos and even alpaca trekking! Book it now - you won’t regret it!

    Dean2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • The barn exceeds expectations. At the bottom of a hill, hidden away this place was exactly what we hoped for. It was quiet, tranquil but easy to travel to Pembrokeshire's beautiful coastline and seaside towns. The barn has beautiful spaces throughout, underfloor heating, top notch kitchen and very peaceful setting. Nuala was a wonderful host and advised us of places to visit and lpa events which were happening during our stay. Would highly recommend xx

    Gemma2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • I can only echo the previous reviews . The barn is outstanding . For us the location was perfect , calming and quiet . It rained all week and it was still the most enjoyable holiday I’ve ever been on . Paul recommended some great places to visit after we mentioned what we would like to do . I know that nothing would have been too much trouble if we needed anything, but we didn’t need to ask . If we ever had the opportunity to return we would do so in a heartbeat. We visited Tenby, St David’s , Manorbier, Pen-yFan, Black mountains Shrinkle and all the surfing beaches, returning in the evenings to the wood burner, reading , dinner , and the best nights sleep. Can’t thank you enough .

    Holly2019-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing, pictures don’t do it justice. Nuala & Paul have done an amazing job presenting this home. Some really nice touches. I was there for Ironman Wales and wanted a relaxing environment to prepare and recover and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Good location to get around various spots in Pembrokeshire. Would stay again for sure!

    Gary2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time we have stayed at Nuala’s ‘The Barn’. Once again it was lovely and clean, with everything we needed for a prefect stay. My teenage children love it here and are already asking when we are booking for next year!! The local area with its coastlines is stunning and lovely local villages/towns. If you want to stay in a relaxing/peaceful setting, this property is prefect. It has everything you need and all the extras are fantastic too - family games/WiFi/fire pit/bbq/washing machine/shampoos and shower gels (which was fab as I had forgotten to pack some!) and so much more...

    Rebecca2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely house in a beautiful valley setting very close to the lovely town of narbeth. Many of Pembrokeshire's wonderful beaches are a short drive away. The house is so stylishly done with lots of space inside and out. Very easy communication with Nuala in the run up to the holiday. Would love to come back.

    Alexander2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We spent three nights staying in the grain store and we were really impressed with everything from the location to the super cosy, stylish and well thought out interior, to the wonderful service we experienced from hosts Hannah and Steve. We treated ourselves to the offer of some home made curry which was in the fridge waiting for us on arrival, and the local wine and handmade cookies were a really nice touch too, everything was delicious. It was pretty bad weather for most of our short trip but we were warm and comfortable in the cottage with plenty of books, board games and even a retro games console to keep us occupied while the storm raged outside. On the final evening the skies cleared and we were able to do some star gazing / meteor spotting as there is no light pollution whatsoever, and we awoke on our last morning to bright frosty sunshine and enjoyed a cup of tea on the benches outside while taking in the view and listening to the mooing cows! We couldn’t have wished for anything more and hope to return very soon. Thank you Hannah and Steve x

There is a spacious kitchen offering all the necessary equipment you may need to cook your home from home favourites, or if you just want to dish up the take away you’ve just had delivered from the restaurants you have available to you and enjoy a cosy evening in, everything you may need is at your fingers tips. The living room is a warmly decorated with comfy seating and a beautiful dining area overlooking the garden where you can sit and discuss your next day’s adventures. Leading from this room is a door, out to the enclosed garden, for those sunny days and relaxing nights you want to enjoy for longer, maybe enjoying an evening meal alfresco style and your favourite tipple. The property has 2 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and the second with two single beds designed to offer you a relaxing night’s sleep. The bathroom has the added luxury of not only a bath for you to chill out in but also a shower as an additional convenience, ideal for a family on the go. This holiday home is the perfect base for your holiday, no matter what type of holiday you enjoy, it is in a stone's throw of so many different adventures you can have in this amazing part of the Country, a real hidden gem. The 'Miners Walk' is located about 100m along the country road which offers a great walk all the way to Saundersfoot/Wisemans Bridge which takes about an hour or it's just a short 10 minute drive. Ideally located for trips to Folly Farm, Bluestone or Manor Park it's pretty much central to all locations. Narberth is but 5 minutes away which has some great restaurants and pubs. If you're into cycling then again it's ideally situated with some great routes down to Cresswell Quay and beyond which avoids the major roads. It really is a lovely quiet spot.
We are situated in the hamlet of Thomas Chapel, a five minute walk down the lane will take you to the village store with off licence, tobacco and Lottery. We are close to the village of Kilgetty with a Co-op supermarket, chemist, hairdressers, Post Office, Chippy, Chinese or Indian restaurant/takeaway and a couple of pubs. If you hop into the car you will fid Saundersfoot , Wisemans Bridge and Amroth less than 10 minutes away, Tenby a few minutes further. Supermarkets (Tesco and Morrisons) deliver directly to this location so no need to venture to the shops. It is the ideal base for exploring Pembrokeshire and West Wales. There are public footpaths and bridle ways nearby with access on to the Miners Path, which is a nice circular walk passing the Begelly Arms pub. Folly Farm - is round the corner, sometimes you can spot the giraffes on your drive to Honeywood! A really quiet location situated on a green with other cottages, with friendly neighbours. The house isn't suitable for 'parties' but great for outdoor BBQ's.
  • Well located, pretty cottage, warm and cosy. Some lovely walks from the door and nearby Saundersfoot is well worth a visit. Quiet location and secure garden space. We had a great trip.

  • Beautiful place. Couldn’t have asked for better. All very clean and tidy, all the little things you’d forget are there and the little touches are fantastic - down to there even being a fire stick in the tv. Beds comfy, bath fantastic and kitchen just beautiful. Communication great and couldn’t be more helpful. We will definitely be back again, already looking at other dates. Highly highly recommend!

  • This property should come with a warning!! More than one infact! I shall start with that bath... the water stays hot enough to fill the whole bath ... there are candles to light.... there is space to put a wine glass behind you (be careful of having glass by the bath of course) and there is WiFi so I could use my Alexa to play Enya softly in the background .... heaven... why the warning?!?!? I nearly fell asleep the first time ever. Super relaxing comfy deep long Bath. Perfect after a long day walking the pooches to Broadhaven around the lily ponds. The other warning... that sofa... we lost three hours on that bad boy? Stupidly comfy and cosy in such a lovely space, loved the large window as it made it easy to keep an eye on the pooches when we let them out in the enclosed garden.... which is huge! Warning number three, I’ve already planned the next stay in my head and many more beyond that if they will have us back... the Sumer would bring the use of the BBQ the fire pit and full use of that garden, with such a lovely view too. Do not hesitate to book this stay ... unless it when I want to go.. in that case I saw it first!! Enjoy and most importantly relax

  • An expected find, providing great value comfortable accommodation with a great selection of supplies to make the stay complete. It’s a great central location, whilst on a main road, this is certainly not an issue, I’m a very light sleeper and it didn’t bother me in the slightest Though we didn’t meet Edward, he did communicate throughout the stay to ensure we were happy
