Stop and Book Now! There is no reason to keep searching because the price, location, amenities, and communication with the host is unsurpassed! This was my very first time using Airbnb and man did Colin’s townhome set the bar for other Airbnb stays very high! He was so easy to contact when needed and was able to accommodate my extensions during the stay. The home is wonderful and there is a lot of space for you outside of your bedroom. The area is central to a lot of things to do in either Fredericksburg or Spotsylvania, with travel time being as close to 2 mins for food or shops or even 10-15 for malls and more shops and MORE restaurants. Ultimately, I really enjoyed my stay and if need be would book a room here again! (Sidenote: if you wait to book I assure you Colins properties are in demand and will go fast!)

Colin was a super Host. This was my first time staying in an AIRBNB. I was a little worried about just doing the Room inside an apartment but overall it was not a problem at all. A great value for the money and I will definitely stay at this location again....

To say Cheryl and her family were amazing is an understatement. She gave us immediate reprieve from 95, allowed us to cook, poured us homemade wine, and ensured our comfort and safety every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend staying with her highly enough. A++++

Wonderful southern bell 🛎, Cheryl’s farm has every thing on the profile and more. Slightly off the highway and honestly one of the most comfortable best nights sleep I've had on the road in a long time !!

Ms. Cheryl was flexible withcheck in/out time, awesome accommodation. That really helped me. I appreciate it. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. I was totally rested and ready to go right back to my 2nd day of work. So a good morning rest was 1000% important to me. She also responded to my initial inquiry very quickly. I had waited more than 2 hours for a different seller to respond to my inquiry. Ms. Cheryl was my next choice but it proved itself great. Also she notified me of my vehicle interior light being on. I simply was too tired to get up and turn it off. Giving attention to helping me was going out of her way. I'll be sure to leave 5 stars and would return to stay again. Recommended.

Cheryl’s place was perfect for me as it’s located close to I-95 between D.C. and Richmond. I stayed here for a night on my way to Florida. Situated at a really peaceful location by the farm, this is a great place. Very well kept, the room was beautiful and comfortable. Cheryl also accommodated my late check-in request at 11pm which was helpful.

Colin is an amazing host!! He made sure I was comfortable and made the apartment cozy with nice decorations and pillows. The space was nice for one or two people and was very clean. The access to tv and washer and dryer was perfect for my stay. I was there for a month and enjoyed every moment. The downsides are it is a little cold in in the apt, but it’s a basement. Colin did mention this so I knew to bring warm clothes and a small heater for the bedroom. The only other issues I had was blowing fuses when I used too many appliances and the water temperature. Again this was something Colin mentioned and was quick to fix when I needed the breaker flipped. The hot water became hot super fast and was hot enough to burn the skin. Once I got used to it I was able to adjust it to a good setting but new tenants should be careful. These are not knocks on Colin at all...I LOVED THE SPACE!! Just a few things to note, and I spoke with Colin about them as well so no secrets. If I had to stay again I would absolutely pick this place!

Elizabeth's place is an excellence stay in Fredericksburg.

Immaculate, huge space and close to downtown Fredericksburg! Stefan and his wife are great hosts and they provided us with fresh rolls, milk and coffee creamer upon arrival. The check in is seamless and the separate entrance provides privacy and a feeling of being in a stand alone house. The decor isn’t over done, it’s just right and we felt very much at home the entire time. All in all a great air BNB experience and we would definitely return here if in the area again. Bonus—Stefan is a pretty cool guy from Germany where we are from:)

Probably the cleanest AirBnB I have ever stayed in. Bixia's guesthouse had many thoughtful touches, and everything you need to get by -- sparkling clean bathroom, kitchen, and a perfectly sized bed for two. Bixia was an extremely responsive and gracious host -- highly recommend!

Second time we stayed here in a week, on our route down south and back up to NY for the holidays. Perfect place to stop near I 95. Self check in, private little cottage. Farm animals all around. Close to town where you can find lots of places to eat and stores. Pet friendly. Baby friendly. Will stay here again on our travels.

This was a wonderful ground level apartment that is 2 minutes from the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center where my husband had surgery during this time. It was very easy to get back and forth. The unit was ground level, making it easy in easy out. Although there were two other units in the home, it was very quiet. When I had some difficulty at one point, Colin was very quick to respond and help me. I searched all over AirBnB in Fredericksburg for a place where I would be comfortable for 3 nights and I can tell you this is the place at the best price.

Colin's place had everything I needed for my stay, including a washer and dryer right outside the door. The location was great, and check in was super easy. I heard other Airbnb guests on occasion but never actually saw anyone. Overall my stay was a great experience.

If you’re looking for a large space to fit several people, this is a great option! The space was clean and they had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, from extra blankets to PAM cooking spray. They even had little shampoo bottles! We will definitely be back.

We loved this cottage! Paula really made it cozy and inviting ! The only thing we would have changed is that we had more time to stay and explore the beautiful property!

Great little place for getting away from the city! Nice trails to walk around, excellent hosts and hospitality.

Paula & Patrick we’re perfect hosts. The cottage was very open and spacious yet intimate and cute. We brought our 3 dogs and a crate as one of our dogs is a puppy still even at 65lbs. The size of the crate didn’t even disrupt the flow of the cottage. All things were thought of at the cottage, bedding to kitchen utensils were good quality, clean and well maintained. I loved snuggling under the quilts on the bed for an afternoon nap. Let’s talk about the property and how spacious and quiet it is. Trails to walk, plenty of room to play ball with our poochers and enjoy some conversation with both Paula and Patrick. The weekend was amazing as I was visited by a sister I never knew existed and she didn’t know I existed either. Paula was so gracious letting us invite my sister and her family over for breakfast and gave us plenty of extra time at the cottage so as not to feel rushed or pushed out when we left on Sunday at check out. This property is a hidden gem and I suspect in the summer between the acres of property, quietness and your loved one by your side you really might have something special to experience if you stayed here.

The apartment is great. There is no WiFi or TV, but that is exactly what I wanted! The property is beautiful and the hosts are incredibly welcoming.

The hosts were very communicative and accommodating and kind. Their dogs are extremely friendly (so is the sheep!) The beds were comfortable, water was hot. The kitchen had just about everything we needed.

We enjoyed our stay here on the farm. My girls loved seeing the chickens and goat and playing with the dogs. Room was very clean and comfortable. Very thoughtful in supplying coffee and tea and a delicious homemade bread! The host was very kind to us.

Bob was a fantastic host! My cousin and I hit some bad weather and arrived very late and Bob still came out to greet us along with his beautiful dogs. Everything was clean and great as expected, I hope to stay here again if I am in the area.

We drove up to Richmond, VA for the Winterfest at Kings Dominion. For only 62.00 a night was an awesome deal and it was only 13 min away from the park. It was not a luxury place and we knew that going in but it was very clean, the host was super polite, and the organic farm with the livestock and pets was right up our alley. An awesome place!

Robert was very helpful and his directions on how to get to the farm were clear and precise. We had a wonderful warm welcome from Robert and Neila. It was a great and memorable start to our US road trip and we happily went on our way having bought some tasty fresh organic eggs and veggies. We loved everything, the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was functional and we were able to cook some tasty meals. Lovely to be greeted by their dogs Laska and Yukon.

Perfect place to stay in Fredericksburg.

Kris's basement space was perfect for a weekend away. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The space is large and filled with cool decor. Kris provided multiple coffee options for a single cup brewing system, some snacks, and water in the mini fridge. The bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was a great addition to our weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot. Kris is great and so is Baxter 😊.More spacious and private than you expect. Hot tub was the cherry on top. We will be back again to see more of this historical town, this house will always be our first choice to stay.

Very clean, very cool finished basement, almost like it's own place with a mini fridge and a microwave. Kris was quick at responding and there was a tv and netflix!

Truly this is an excellent Airbnb. The space you have seems to be newly renovated with everything you could need! Kris provides several amenities including coffee, popcorn, an electric fireplace, hot tub, and a large TV with a great sound system. Kris also provides guests with food recommendations as well as things to do around town. If I'm ever visiting the Fredericksburg area again, there's no doubt that I'll look for Kris' place first before booking anything else!

This was a great place to stay. The place was really clean, there was a nice sofa and TV, the bed is very soft, the shower is great with lots of hot water and water pressure. Kris responded really quickly to us, which was very nice. There was a little coffee machine, popcorn, microwave, and a small refrigerator. It’s about a $12 Uber ride to downtown Fredericksburg, and there were plenty of Uber’s around. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Kris's house, it was very comfortable and had plenty of space. The private entry made it really easy to access and we didn't have to worry about waking anyone. We were able to take the dog right out the door to the grassy backyard which was extremely convenient. Kris thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we had dinner at the Tavern up the street which we enjoyed and it was very close to your house.

The Adrian Cabin was so lovely. My boyfriend and I were only able to stay one night, but we hope to be back as soon as possible! It was a lot of fun reading through the old guest book entries and seeing how much other couples enjoyed their escape to the cabin as well!

A great place for a quick overnight while exploring historic sites in the area. The host was quick at communicating and sent instructions for after hours check-in when we arrived a bit later than expected. Would love to come again and spend more time! A totally charming little enclave in the woods.

A great, relaxing, incredibly cozy getaway. We’ve been three times now, and are always treated warmly. The cabin is spotless (without losing its rustic charm), has enough amenities for a pleasant but simple stay, and even had nice touches like Christmas decorations and a handwritten note. We love it and highly recommend it!

My husband, baby, dog, and I loved our two-night stay at the Adrian cabin. It was beautifully decorated, cozy, and quite spacious. The fireplace is lovely and the main room is a comfortable place to sit and read by the fire. There are nice walking trails in the woods nearby, and the property feels secluded even though it’s right off the road. We had a nice lunch in Fredericksburg which is only about a 20 minute drive from the property.

It was the perfect little getaway after the holidays and before work. Exactly the space I needed to be surrounded by the woods, cozied up in my books next to a fireplace, and quiet and far away enough to recharge from the bustling city. It wasn't off the grid (shopping complex is 20-30 min away, great if you need something you forgot--which I did!) but this cabin was the furthest from the rest and closest to the trails. It was such a surprising treat to be able to walk the breathtaking grounds! Communication from the team was excellent (both on the phone and via Airbnb) and there was plenty of firewood for this chilly weather. I look forward to staying here again!

It is an absolutely lovely, nicely appointed, little cabin. The setting is rural enough to give you the private secluded feel you are looking for, while being very much part of a private estate (e.g. paved parking pad, secure, other cabins are somewhat visible). Superb place for a little getaway!

Stop! Look no further, this Airbnb by far is the BEST stay I’ve every experienced! Everything from the stylish home, the thoughtful pleasantries available in the room, the owners dog who is awesome and lastly the owners who are extremely hospitable, friendly, down to earth and full of amazing recommendations and helpful tips! Staying here is the best decision you can make for yourself! You are on the other side of the house and it’s like you have your own wing. There’s a private 1/2 bathroom on suite, fridge, huge closet, mounted tv with all the binge worthy apps you could want! Yes the owners live in the home but they both offer wonderful conversation, cool ideas when it comes to anything DIY and crafty. The host had thoughtful complimentary amenities like, toothbrushes, shower gel, toothpaste, deodorant and so much more. There was also complimentary bottles of water in the fridge in the room along with some nice guides and maps on the nightstand. The extra touches really stood out to me which is why I highly recommend booking here. It is truly unlike any experience I’ve ever had, hotels included. I know for a fact this property books super fast so if you’re on the fence, book now and think later because you have no idea what you’ll be missing out on if you don’t.

You will LOVE staying here. I had an absolutely fantastic experience. Quiet. Clean. Accurate description. Timely communication. Everything was above and beyond and the hosts themselves are a great couple. Don’t miss out!

Chanteria’s home is a great spot to stay while in Spotsylvania. Our room was spotless, as with the rest of the home. We used the kitchen every morning to make our breakfast and coffee. Don’t hesitate to book this Air B&B.

Staying in Chanteria’s home was about as enjoyable as it gets. The location is very convenient and it seemed about 10 minutes from anywhere in town. The space is immaculate—shiny, clean, and smells clean and fresh as well. The directions to get access were well-communicated, and access was simple and unobtrusive. I am hoping to stay here on my way through again!

My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Melissa’s cabin in the woods. The home was spotless and well-equipped , plus the location was quiet and private. The communication with Melissa was excellent! We would definitely return again in the future.

If you need a quiet cozy get away - this is the place. And don't take the word cozy to mean small - there's plenty of room! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the game room was super fun! We had a blast playing many games of pool. Melissa is great with communication, and answered questions quickly and was super helpful and welcoming. We're curious to see what Lake Anna is like in the summertime. There is nothing going on the the winter - but that's what we were looking for for this trip - so it was great.

My sister, two kids, two dogs and I spent an amazing weekend at the Log Cabin. It was a quiet, idyllic setting with beautiful walking trails and a short drive to Old Town Fredericksburg, where we found amazing restaurants and shops. Stevenson Ridge did a wonderful job of making us feel at home. We'll definitely be back!

Charming cabin in the woods surrounded by other cabins, a large lodge with event space, and a lovely pond. Plenty of space for 2 people. Would love to stay again. Lots of available firewood. Bring your own extra newspaper or fire starter sticks.

This is a charming and very comfortable log cabin! It is really well decorated to keep a rustic feel but to still feel cozy and inviting. It is part of a larger event venue with multiple historic houses and clearly has been a labor of love. The log cabin is near a wedding venue reception hall, but manages to still feel private. There is a lovely forest area next to the property which is fun to explore.

Thank you for a wonderful third trip! This was our first time in the log home and we definitely decided it is the best home there for warm weather. The view from the gigantic porch is wonderful and serene. Thank you!

🤩 Five Stars!! Easy to follow instructions even though the office was closed I was given everything I needed prior to my stay. Communication was clear and the cabin was chic-rustic. I wished we could have stayed longer; however the one night with our two dogs and cat was better than I could’ve imagined! My fur babies we absolutely thought of with treats awaiting their arrival, bowls, blankets, and sheets for the furniture. It was a home away from home for the three of them. Must stay! With or without pets ;) Additionally, to say the least the property was gorgeous!

Susan's place was exactly as advertised: clean, well appointed, comfortable,and cozy. It was the perfect spot to stay for our one night in Fredericksburg. The private bathroom really sealed it for me when I was shopping rooms to rent. The bed was soft and very comfortable. The family was friendly and welcoming. The best Air BB I've ever stayed in!! Clean, spacious, PERFECT in home temperature regulating!!! The hosts are so incredibly respectful that they will not attempt to enter area without asking first and ensuring you are there. They call it " your home" while you are their guest. I needed this time as I'm searching for a home to purchase and working long hours on data, etc. I needed the space, calm and comfortable, so much. I met them this morning and they are absolutely delightful. You could not ask for better. I'm sad to go! But looking forward to buying my home.

Very nice home in a nice new neighborhood. Feels very safe. We took a walk pretty late at night and we were very comfortable. You can tell that Dhiraj takes a lot of pride in his home and has converted the basement to a lovely apartment. Very spacious bright and clean. Would recommend it.

Dhiraj’s place was clean and spacious. The ping pong table kept us entertained, as well! While we could hear the family moving around and watching TV in the evening, the sound stopped around 9/10 in time for us to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, very nice place to stay.

Scott and Carrie's place was in a great location. Everything was clean, there was plenty of dishware, sheets, everything you need. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is great for a family or group travelling with the kitchen and laundry spaces. The noise from the train can be loud throughout the night but other than that the location is great! The place was clean and the owners were attentive to our needs. I would stay again!

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Very convenient to downtown. Take note that the train is really close and the walls are thin. Bring good ear plugs or a sound machine. Hosts were very responsive.

This was my third stay, so obviously I very much like it. It's only a short walk from downtown, and close to the rest of Fredericksburg. Highly recommended.

We ran into a problem at the house the first morning (no fault of the owners) and someone was over at the house within ten minutes fix the problem! There is a large yard for kids to run around and play catch with a ball. It's a great space for a couple of families to gather (or one large family). They are very thoughtful and leave things like toothbrushes just in case you forget! This is our second time staying here and we will do it again in the future!

Was in Richmond for the marathon. It only took me 20 minute to get downtown Saturday morning and 30 minutes to get to the airport to pick up my partner Friday evening. There was lots of space for us and my adult children.

An affordable, comfortable, and clean spot to stay close to Fredericksburg! This BNB was spacious just as described in the listed and accommodated myself, my husband, and our infant perfectly. A Pack + Play was even available for our use! We also appreciated the bacon, eggs, and plentiful Keurig cups provided in the kitchen. Kim and John responded to any messages I had almost instantly and gave us all the information we needed to find our way around the space without any issues. I would definitely reserve this space again if given the opportunity.

We truly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave when we did. We would happily book Kim and John's place should we ever find ourselves back in the area.

Very clean, beautiful place to stay within a nice neighborhood. The views are beautiful. Private place with very thoughtful and sweet touches. I stayed with my kids and Teresa left items that would be useful for my youngest (stepping stool and children’s shampoo). Would definitely recommend if looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Great value and friendly folk to be around. Apartment was clean and stayed a constant temperature. The amenities of a traditional coffee maker (I don't like Kuerig) and a full stove and oven with a large bathroom made it a great stay for the price. Much better than getting a hotel room. Also the family are quiet and won't keep you up at night. The neighborhood is quiet as well.

The location of this place is awesome! It was great to be able to walk pretty much anywhere downtown. Scott and Carrie were super reaponsive and helpful, and the check in instructuons were wonderfully clear and accurate. There was also coffee available- a lovely touch!

Adorable place and perfect for our one-night getaway. We especially enjoyed the huge bathtub, walking trails, and breakfast delivery. The house is on a big property with other rentals and an events space, so you can expect excellent hospitality while still soaking up the rustic charm. Not too far from Fredricksburg either which we enjoyed exploring on our way home.

Jennifer did a great job with personalizing our stay at the Post Office. She was very responsive to my requests as I was planning a proposal. The plan that we discussed was executed flawlessly. Best of all, she said yes! The cabin was perfect for the occasion. Cleanliness and attention to detail are clearly important to the staff that maintains this space. We will be back!

Perfect weekend getaway! Beautiful, cozy cabins with a rich history offer an escape from your typical routine. Nearby historic Fredericksburg is also really convenient. We stopped by downtown Fredericksburg for sightseeing before heading to the cabin, and it was overall a great time.

Our stay at the Post Office was absolutely perfect for a few days to get away from DC. The cabin was just as beautiful as it looked in the pictures, and actually was even a little bigger than we expected! The check-in process was very easy, and since they knew we were bringing our dog, the hosts had even set out bowls, treats, and a big blanket for her on the dining room table. A+ hospitality! We were also able to book our stay very last-minute (<24 hours) because of a cancellation, which we appreciated a lot. The interior is really gorgeous, it has a cozy and rustic feel without being tacky and over-decorated. There's a lot of natural light that comes in during the day, which is nice. There's a couch, some chairs, and a wood-burning fireplace in the living room, a dining room table with 4 chairs, and a bed in the loft upstairs. The kitchen had a microwave, a toaster oven, a mini fridge and freezer, and a coffee maker with plenty of coffee, tea, and even some hot cocoa, plus creamer, sugar, and sweetener. We had all the dishes and silverware we needed as well. The property is large, part rolling hills and part woods. It's not far off the main road but you don't feel like you're in the middle of civilization at all. There's a large pond with a fountain and some benches overlooking it, and I think there are some trails in the forest but it was muddy during our stay so we didn't check them out. If you're into Civil War history, there's a battlefield nearby and some history associated with the property. My one warning is that if you're tall, you'll probably feel very cramped in the loft because of the sloped ceiling. I'm 5'7" and I had to duck a little to walk around the foot of the bed. The Post Office is also next door to another cabin (maybe 50 feet away), in case you're looking for total seclusion, but you can't even see their front door from the cabin so it still felt very much like we had our own place. Overall, our stay here was everything we expected and more, and we're already looking forward to our next trip back.

Great space. Tidy, cozy and great touches. Warm during the winter. The large spacious soak bathtub is romantic and comfortable. Free firewood for the fireplace (make sure you know how to start a fire unless you have an easy log starter). The large window in the kitchen is nice with good light. Very accommodating for dogs (even had a blanket, water/ food bowl provided as well as some extra milk bones). Our dog was very comfortable and enjoyed it. We were missing shampoo and it was Christmas Eve... a thing of shampoo was brought over very quickly for us. Would recommend the breakfast basket for at least a day, even though it's not a ton of food, me and my wife were full enough and didn't even finish the whole breakfast! Only things is the bathtub takes time to fill. Would highly recommend!

A very special place

My husband, 7-month old baby, and I stayed at the cabin overnight on our way back to New York from North Carolina. The house was rustic, chic, impeccably clean, and quiet. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed taking a bath in the sparkling clean Jacuzzi tub while my husband watched a DVD of Pirates of the Caribbean and the baby slept upstairs. For this new, tired mama it was such a lovely way to spend an evening. I wish we could've stayed longer than one night -- the cabin and surrounding woods were just so beautiful.

I had a wonderful birthday weekend at the Bedford Cabin! The home is cozy, historically chic, and relaxing. The cabin was filled with delightful decorative touches, all providing a comfortable and pleasant experience. The fireplace was a nice retreat from the cold weather. We could see other cabins nearby, but it was quiet throughout the property. As noted, no cable, but we watched some DVDs and were perfectly fine. We opted for the breakfast delivery and it was delicious and plentiful both days. Check-in/out was super easy and the communication with Stevenson Ridge was very prompt. We plan to come back when it is warmer to take advantage of the patio/porch and the Civil War trails!

Great space. The cabin is comfortable and well furnished. Perfectly situated near the Spotsylvania Courthouse Battlefield and Fredricksburg. This has all the feel of a rustic, secluded cabin with the joys of being near restaurants and shopping.

The room was perfect and although sharing a bathroom with the other guests is always risky, this was clean and I never had to wait. Kitchen had all I needed and living room was quiet and open. Highly recommend. Marie was quick to respond and had clean sheets and towels every week.
