Great place to stay.

The apartment is above average well equipped, very modern and lovingly furnished, in the winter chubby warm and very clean. The location in the old town is especially nice. For loading and unloading the car can be parked next to the house, then can be found in a few minutes on foot in a side street easily a parking space. The train connection to Mannheim and Heidelberg is great. The check-in by Claudia's husband was very friendly and uncomplicated. The communication in advance was timely and equally friendly. Therefore, there is a clear recommendation for the accommodation from my side. For the next visit to the area we would immediately book the apartment again.

A simple and practical hostel! I found the idea of installing three showers and three toilets in the shared bathroom well resolved, so you have privacy. I'd like to come back!

We have enjoyed Jorg's hospitality multiple times. The place is perfect for a stop half way for our trip to the ski resorts in Italy or in Germany. And a perfect excuse to enjoy a wonderful dinner in beautiful Ladenburg, eating an amazing rumpsteak directly from the hot stone brought to your table at Die Kartoffel. Thank you Jorg! Ilses Haus is located in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Ladenburg. The welcome is warm, familiar and warm. Despite the family environment, you can retire to your beautiful, bright room. The bathroom is big and clean. From the lounge you have a beautiful view of meadows, fields and forest. There are nice conversations in the shared kitchen. In summer you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the fresh air. There are some shops in town, I used the car. The small old town and the banks of the Neckar are within walking distance. It is a good starting point for bike tours to Heidelberg and the surrounding area. Enjoy Ilse!

It was again a wonderful, warm stay, which I enjoyed again very much. It is wonderfully quiet and still not far from the old town. We recommend.

Gerd was an amazing host, and the apartment was fantastic! Right in the heart of Ladenburg, an easy walk to all of the sights in town. The only drawback for our group is that we had 7 guests and the apartment only has one shower - but we managed to adjust. Parking is difficult, but that should be expected in an almost 2,000 year-old walled town. Check-in was quick and easy - Gerd's parents were easy to contact and wonderful. I can't say enough about our experience - we're already looking at renting the apartment for our next trip to the Heidelberg area.

The location was ideal in walking to the center of town or getting on the road to visit other places. The accommodations had much to offer including a place to relax in the backyard; parking opportunities were abundant. Everything was great, clean and bright with a wonderful central location, everything easily accessible! Since you can fold up the bed during the day, you feel really comfortable in the apartment as a couple. Communication with Yassin was smooth, fast and reliable.

A wonderful top floor apartment right on Bergstrasse in which I felt very comfortable. Susanne and her family are very friendly and the apartment is furnished with love. There was even a little pre-Christmas greeting, perfect nerve food for learning stress. :-) The apartment has a small kitchen, everything I needed was there. I highly recommend this property

My stay at Wassos' has been simply amazing. He picked me up at the train station the day I arrived, and from there I felt everyday like being home. We often had dinner together, he likes to cook delicious specialties from the German and Greek tradition, and that was the chance for relaxed and fun chats in the evening! We also hang out together in Heidelberg and Mannheim sometimes in the week-end, where I got some useful tips on restaurants, ice cream shops and other nice spots to visit. The house is nice, cozy and extremely clean, I loved the pleasant atmosphere in my room and in the common spaces. And, for the coffee lovers: the espresso machine in the kitchen is the cherry on the cake, 5 stars! Finally, a green and peaceful neighbourhood with a supermarket nearby, actually the place I was looking for, next to the cities but perfect to relax in the evening. I will definitely come again for my next stay in the area, see you soon man!

Where should I start first? It was my first time with Airbnb and a direct hit. Wassos shares his apartment and I was overwhelmed by his hospitality. He cooked for me, we laughed a lot, had great talks and he was a very good advisor in a difficult life situation for me. What more do you want?!! Just great. Ladenburg is very conveniently located: not far to the Odenwald (perfect for hiking and mountain biking), to Heidelberg, Weinheim and Speyer (sights + shopping), but also Ladenburg is worth a visit. An old town with a beautiful city center (an almost preserved old town center) and located on the Neckar, there are many opportunities to explore the area on foot. If you arrive here, you will not only get a nice destination, but also a really good accommodation with a host that you could not wish for better. Thank you, Wassos !!! I will definitely come back to Ladenburg, the time was far too short for me to explore everything, and of course, see if at Wassos the room is free ... I look forward to seeing you again!

The accommodation of Wassos was always clean and nothing was missing. Wassos is definitely a very good host and chef too. Ladenburg is a beautiful area. It's fast in Heidelberg or Mannheim. Definitely worth the trip. I would choose the accommodation at Wassos again at any time. All in all, just grade 1 A.

Great host and clean apartment.

The communication with Wassos was perfect right from the beginning. He was really helpful and he even offered me a ride several times to explore the area. His place is really nice and clean and the room was really spacious to accomodate two guests. The location is pretty convenient since it is close to both Mannheim and Heidelberg. Additionaly during my stay, I had the chance to taste some typical german dishes, like beef roulade with rotkohl and asparagus with hollandaise and I can assure you that Wassos is a great cook. Overall Wassos was an amazing host and surely I recommend him to everyone visiting this area.

Wassos is super ospital. The house is very kind, not in the center but you can joint the center by train in few minutes. Most of the time was Wassos that was so kind to bring us wherever we want. I recommend him! Thank's Wassos.

The accommodation was totally cozy and also very large. It is very central and can be easily reached by public transport. There is also a cute café just a few streets away. The hostess was friendly and easily accessible, all in all a very nice stay in Mannheim.

Large room on the 4th floor, elevator available. The room has a kettle, 2 hot plates, a fridge, a sink: great facilities. There are a total of other rooms, 2 toilets and 2 showers in the apartment, which were absolutely sufficient as there was never a traffic jam. The location is great, we were on foot after 3 minutes at the entrance to the old town. There is also a McDonalds right next to the house entrance!

Where do I start. The place is absolutely amazing. It’s in the perfect location between Heidelberg and Mannheim. There is a bus station in front of the house and a train station within walking distance. Hagen was extra helpful with directions, he even offered to pick me up when I got lost. Speaking of the host family, they were extremely warm and inviting. They gave me a tour of the rest of the home, which is amazing. We sat and chatted like we had known each other for years. Overall great experience. I will be visiting again in the summer, and I’ll stay with them again!!!

Nice, cozy room with a very small kitchenette. Top located. The street did not really bother you, but you have to be aware that in such an old building occasionally takes the floor above one true. We had a very nice getaway =)
