A very nice and cosy wooden house in the valley of the beautiful Semois river - which is literally a couple of meters away from the house. The house is very well furnished and has also a lot of kitchen appliances. It is ideal for anybody, who looks for a quiet, peaceful place to spend his/her days, also families with dogs will like this place very much. The surrounding forest of the city Chiny ( 1 minute walk from the house :)) has several walking routes with marvellous view to the mountains and the river. Our dachshunds loved the forest where they could run around without leash, and we have enjoy the fresh air, and the countless stars on the sky during the night (I have never seen so many stars on the sky in my life !!!). This house and the surrounding makes you feel you are in a fairy tale - it is really worth staying there. :)

Chalet at the edge of the Semois suitable for rest. No TV or WiFi, ideal for disconnecting and fully enjoying nature. The chalet is extremely well equipped, more than the advertisement suggests. Thank you Chantal for the little touches on our arrival: small beers and Christmas decoration.

Very comfortable chalet, absolutely quiet in the song of birds. Particular for this stay from 24 to 28 June: the cottage is cool, and even very cool while the thermometer of the terrace (west and in the shadow of the wall) indicated 36 °. Everything is planned for a pleasant stay, nothing is missing! (many books and comics).

Nadège apartment is well located, there is everything you need inside for a good stay. I recommend you visit the abbey of Orval and this small village of Bouillon with its exceptional castle.

(Maps and visits of the region made available) From each exit, we returned to the APC apartment for first thought that the smell was very pleasant. To do so much praise, all lived and thought !! This cottage exceeded all our expectations. It is very spacious, immaculate and with so many amenities! The spaces are very tastefully decorated and there is plenty of room for even eight people. It is also situated in a cozy village on the water. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends!

Welcome to the top! Little attentions upon our arrival (Orval, apple juice). Great location between Florenville and Bouillon. Very quiet street in one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia. We will come back!

Super successful stay! Home absolutely top with small explanations unusual on the house. The cottage is full of charm, very spacious and warm. It is in the heart of the village and that's what we wanted. On Sunday, there is the small farmer's market just a step away: a plus. We recommend for successful stays with friends or family.

Pretty the perfect AirBnB accommodation. Big, spacious for 6-7 persons. Georges and Valerie are very friendly and attentive, always willing to spend time with the guests. The breakfast is extensive and also offers typical dishes of the region, homemade jam and apple juice, ... A very quiet area, perfect for walking and relaxing. Active programs (kayaking, ...) we did not avail.

Georges and Valery are two people with a warm heart that is also in the right place. They love to get to know their guests. So we enjoyed different joint table moments with them. We have rarely seen the way in which they open their homes and themselves to guests. Moreover, their house is in a beautiful and very quiet setting. The Gaume region has a lot to offer. Especially for avid walkers like us. Absolutely recommended in size.

On the road to the transgaumaise, a beautiful stage in a typical village. George and his wife did everything to make the stay a success, we felt at home. We highly recommend!

Jean-Françoiss is a very good host. The Gite was very beautifull and had no complaints. Just keep in mind the Jacuzzi is only available between April and August. Thank you for your hostility!

The house is truely wonderful! Very modern with old charms. Beautiful big garden with swings, huttubb and BBQ. Each bedroom has a luxury bathroom and the Kitchen is fully equipped with everthing you could possibly need! Perfect house for a groep of friends, family of a big household.

It is a nice house with a huge garden with lots of privacy. Parking is ideal on your own driveway and you can use the garage for bicycles. There is also a washing machine and dryer available that you can use for free. There are three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. At the front (opposite) the house is a primary school. Since we were present during a holiday period, we were not bothered by it. Jacuzzi was nice although you will have to start warming up in time. It takes a while before the temperature is reached.

We had a great weekend with 3 couples. Plenty room for us with 3 bedrooms and 3 showers! The big garden was great and we spend our weekend mostly in the hottub and playing games in the garden. Kanoën is a nice activity for seeing the nature! Florenville was a little quit, so we did not go there for diner and used the BBQ again. We recommand it!

We had a wonderful stay. The place is a very cozy little nest (even better than in the photos) in a superb region. Vera and Raoul are perfect hosts very available! Indeed, we received a lot of information before our stay, a supper awaited us on our arrival, and lots of little attentions during the stay especially for our children (games, coloring, stuffed animals ...).

What a stay! Largely beyond our expectations and competent hosts, efficient and very friendly!

We had a wonderful time with Vera and Raoul! Prior to our arrival the communication was fine, on arrival Vera showed us everything and we received soup with bread and apple pie as a welcome meal. The cottage is not large but has everything you need and everything was very clean. The children slept wonderfully in the bunk bed and were able to play extensively and play in the large garden. Waking up and outside on the terrace in the sun drinking coffee overlooking the mountains .... this is vacation! The evening before departure, Vera came to bring home a homemade cake from Raoul, which we unfortunately did not come to. Extremely cordial and friendly, definitely a winner!

Marc's house is super. In the middle of the Ardennes, beautiful setting. You can eat well at La Forgerie and on Sundays there is a cozy farmer's market in a little village away. The house is clean, large and fully equipped. A small garden at the front where you can have breakfast in the sun at the picnic table. Thanks for the hospitality, the help and the good tips. Sophie’s place is a true home away from home and perfect in every way. The home feels like you’re staying with family, it’s cozy, and full of Ardennes charm. The house has all amenities you’d wish to have in a home and it’s sparkling clean. The cozy home has a beautiful and peaceful view we enjoyed so much, and it’s also just one minute walking distance from the center of the charming village of Florenville. This little village has fantastic restaurants, bars, bakery, chocolates, and a great supermarket. Sophie and Andres are tremendous host! We arrived at night to a cozy lit up home, with cute welcome snacks which made us feel so welcome right away. They are both very responsive and we also had an amazing time with Sophie’s airbnb experience with her horses which we highly recommend. Thank you for hosting us! We now have a home away from home in the Ardennes next time we visit!

Beautiful location! Very close to the village (supermarket, restaurants) but impossible to report by looking through the windows - nice views of the countryside and trees. Much more to visit in the region than I expected, a pity to have only booked 3 nights. Great house for our family of 4. In short, everything was perfect except the musty smell everywhere (maybe difficult for those with allergies) and the WC downstairs (thankfully another upstairs).

This cottage is really a gem! There is more space than expected. It is ideally located: close to shops and terraces, but with a beautiful view of the Semois plain. We really had a wonderful time here!

For those who want to discover the beautiful surroundings of the Ardennes in a cosy, luxurious place with stunning views: this is the place to be. The house feels very homely and is furnished with a lot of thought. Florenville is a nice village with several restaurants and bars, a big supermarket at walking distance from the house. From the house you can walk to the river. Sophie is very approachable and answers very quickly to all your questions. I would definitely recommend this place!

Very pleasant reception. The house is in a very good location and it is quiet. The room has everything and is cool even when the days are warm. A table with chairs is available in the garden with a beautiful view. The many hiking tips as well as tips about restaurants and sights were enormously welcome.

This was definitely one of the best airbnbs we have ever been. First, the welcome was so warm, Vera prepared for us great soup, bread and cheese plate which we really apreciated after long day. Fourth stay in this charming Gaumaise farm that we have a hard time leaving. The wood stove always prepares delicious meals for us.

A very nice surprise, the Gaumaise farm, very authentic and very charming. Fire, piano, vinyl records, billiards, beautiful rooms and bedrooms, decor of yesteryear ... everything pleased young and old alike. All in a very beautiful region full of beautiful surprises.

We had a very good stay in a charming and comfortable house. Ideal for a family stay. The house is easy to open and Thibaut is very responsive to all questions.

We spent 4 days with family in Thibaut's house as Christmas approached. The catastrophic weather forced us to stay a lot indoors .... and what an interior! Located in the heart of the village, this 1803 farmhouse, renovated with great taste, is truly magnificent. Staying there is a change of scenery in itself for the city dwellers that we are. Well heated, well furnished, with all the necessary modern equipment (dishwasher, etc.) ... We felt very good there. The wood stove which crackles and warms the living room gave us a very pleasant break out of time. The Abbey of Orval at 10-15 minutes is a compulsory stop :). Thanks to Thibaut for his attentions and quick responses! We will come back.

Building well designed to accommodate large groups and everything is at the level of the kitchen, shower room and toilet. Very nice living room with a pellet stove. Warm atmosphere and cocoon.

An incredible beautiful location with perfect walking routes. Kris is super hospitable and offered to walk along to find the most beautiful spots. For a large group it is difficult to find a better place than this!

We had a pleasant stay. The rooms communicate but it is not disturbing with the family. Clean apartment upon arrival, board games available.

Viviane's apartment is well equipped and very spacious. Possibility to stay at 4 no problem in my opinion. The bedding is very comfortable. Just know that access to the second room is via the first which can be embarrassing but has not been for us. Small practical: the presence of books and board games available and a small private garden with furniture and a barbecue. The entrance and exit of places is easy and the place is very quiet and charming. The apartment is ideally located to visit the area and Florenville is really close with its shops. I particularly recommend Chiny's tourist office for tourist information. The lady who works there is great, competent and passionate.

We were in the cottage in Chiny during the New Year's Eve weekend. The welcome was very friendly, Vinciane gave many tips about the area. The location, on the outskirts of Chiny and surrounded by forests, with a good number of walking routes nearby, is very beautiful. The beds are great and everything else you need is available. Really, this apartment satisfied all of our needs. We were looking for a quiet weekend away from Brussels and Vinciane's place was great. We spent a few hours at Orval, had lunch and the rest of the weekend was spent walking around the apartment, in the woods, and around little Chiny. The local tips from Vinciane were very helpful. The apartment is extremely comfortable with everything we needed.

This was the second time we have selected Vinciane's place for our X-mas/new-year's family retreat. I can warmly recommend the place. It is very cozy, comfortable, and near to the forest for great walks and outdoor activities. I am sure that we will return next year.

The house of Jacques is nice (nice garden) and is well located to visit the region of Orval. Details: it has many stairs (children or elderly ...) and the bathrooms / shower are in the rooms.

Very warm and lovely place. We enjoyed the backyard in the sunny weather! It’s comfortable to stay and it’s convenient location made it easy to browse the nature around and couple if touristic cities around. The hosts were also very nice and helpful. Totally worth the price.

3 bedrooms, quiet location, beautiful kitchen, located near the many beautiful walks and place of the region.

If there were quintessential hosts, they were it! They met us when we arrived, offered to help us into the flat, invited us for cocktails and cheese for us as soon as we were settled, provided us all the help we could ask for, and accommodating in every way. The flat was spacious, well equipped, clean, had air-con, and washer/dyer. Location was great especially for a few beer nerds like us. Jacques even had a few suggestions for breweries that we did not know existed. The hosts were super friendly and made some new friends. :)

We have stayed a week at Jacques. The property looks nice and clean looking. There is a spacious kitchen and the bedrooms are large enough (the beds sleep). The aircon was also very nice, especially because some days it was very hot. Jacques and his wife are very friendly and hospitable people. Beforehand I was asked if there was to be bought something special. They also gave great tips to do nearby. To top it off, we were invited for a barbecue. Overall, it was a very nice holiday and that the landlords have had an important role!

Clean, spacious accommodation, terrace and garden accessible. Viviane very flexible on arrivals and departures. We did not see each other but everything went very well. Ideally located cottage, walks and Semois within walking distance. We really had a perfect family holiday, enjoyed the BBK, the kids from the garden, everyone included dogs from the Semois and the forest. I highly recommend!
